Why would Canadian vehicles get folding mirrors but not U.S. cars?

I don't know, but the sport package in the states is much cooler. Our sport does not give us red stitching, red seatbelts, metallic interior trim, or the two tone wheels.

2013 C300 Sport Black Darth V3.0
Only 2008's in the US had them. Many older threads about problems with them. I stopped using mine because of the terrible noise when they opened or closed. The AD tried top fix them multiple times and they would be good for a short while then start up again. They eventually replaced both mirror assemblies but I had stopped folding them around that time.

I finished retrofitting the power folding mirrors to my 2013 coupe. Pretty straight forward job. I previously retrofitted the folding mirrors on my 2005
c230 as well.
It makes it a lot easier to get in and out of my car while in my garage. It also protects against idiots that cant drive and smack your mirrors, causing damage.

One of the reasons why I turned it off was for reliability. It's another thing to go wrong on the car.
