That's why I thought you were knocking on their 3-piece forged wheels. Anyways, size, stance and fitment is all about personal preference, has nothing to do with rice. I don't think size is an issue cause one guy has 18" wheels and the other has 19" wheels, which are pretty common sizes on our cars. You probably just don't like the fact that they're low I am assuming. If you feel that being low is not classy, then that's just your opinion, but I don't think being low is rice, cause the lowrider guys started the low scene way before "rice" was even a term to describe cars.

It came with the house. Plus its a slope so playing basketball on it isn't that great.It's his opinion on my wheels. Anh-Tuan, pretty sure we're in a whole difference car scene he is in. Do I believe the wheels belong on a honda though? Naaah, pretty sure I can buy an old honda with just my wheels alone
We know its all preference and I think the word rice is just being thrown around way too much to define cars now a days.

I haven't been on the forums in a few months, I've been too busy digging out if the snow up here. I'm glad I ran across this thread! I've been cracking up at the banter. I see both sides of the Coin here. There are definitely some over the top rides, but the majority of the photos are pretty close aside from a few creative minds at work.
Anyway, I'm not gonna mislead anyone here, my '09 c300 4matic is still a great car. I have knock off CL63 rims, it's "murdered out," and I still list window tint and a K&N air filters as mods. Lmao. All of which were (at one point) all that was available when I bought it 5 years ago. (i.e. The sought after C63 grill!! Haha) I've ranted about getting the CLA, but never did. So to many of you fellow w204-ers I'm probably "that guy." Lol.
Anyway, keep these mods coming, I enjoy them. I'm still waiting for someone to buy a c300 and replace the engine with a c63. Now THAT would take the cake.
PS, our cars are getting old. We've been spoiled that they still look "new" to the untrained eye. Maybe next year I'll get a new one and tint the sh** out of it!!

It's truly to each his own and some of us can't slam the car so it sits a millimeter of the ground because of snow and roads that have potholes. But at the same time you shouldn't use "GAWDY", maybe just say rice cause some people love their 264" rims on their benz, even though it's stupid and ruins the ride quality, that is their own provocative.
See for me this is rice or a bad looking benz.
But this is to my standard and other people might think that it's cool.
And this is what I think a good looking benz is

Doesn't really fit the image on a Benz what my point was trying to come across to. If he likes it, it is fine with me, I just want to know why on a Benz. Also, In which you mentioned, "it's bad."

And constructive criticism = an opinion or insight on something for the purpose of improving the outcome.
And when I said bad, I meant mechanically not exterior wise. The whole image of a mercedes thing I won't get into as that's all your opinion.

Ill answer his question for you "Generic." Because it is his car. He has achieved the desired look he so sought after. Because he doesn't want to be "generic" and look like every other W204 out there and it makes HIM happy. He doesn't do it for your approval nor anyone else. Surely you are smart enough to expect the same answer from him and there is no need to ask a question you already know the answer to.
