In your guys' opinions, which grill do you think looks better and cleaner on a black car. Please post below your opinions. I would give picture credit to these photos, but I found these on Google images and am using my phone to post this:

Photo 2 on an otherwise stock black car looks out of place in my opinion.

Both one and two could work , but it depends on what wheels you have to match with it.
I prefer the option 1 and have the wheels blend in with that.

Get a can of black spray paint for plastic and a flat head screw driver and make it happen. The grill pops out with no tool required in a couple minutes and the chrome strips snap off like Lego pieces. I did mine in a half hr.
Mine was done in satin black to match the wheels at the time

Satin black is matte black right? if not, what is the difference, so I can decide which one looks better? The reason why I would only wanna black out the white plastic parts and not the chrome stripes is because on a black car, chrome looks really good. If I had a white car, I would black out all chrome.

Yes, satin is flat black. i used it because I had already powder coated my stock wheels satin black to off set the cars black.

MBZ also sells the sports grille in silver (like yours) or gloss black. From the dealer they are about $ 375 but factory parts can also be found on E Bay new for the grille in black at about 275

But it is really so east to remove and paint your self I did not see any reason to buy one. Mine came out great.

Here is a link to the black grille if you dont want to paint yours - $ 10 for a can of paint or 175 for a replacement grille

or the one I swapped to
http://www.ebay.com/itm/271205223592...84.m1439.l2649

the pics of my car are the stock grille painted balck with the chrome strips and the single bar grille replacement

I also agree that the chrome against the black car looks good as long as it is kept to minimum IMO. But the occ silver painted stuff is out of place - grille, wheels
