  • Water is considered an impurity and before installing Evans Coolant, most of the water must be removed from the cooling system.
  • For a successful conversion water content must be below 3%. In order to take advantage of Evans Waterless coolant, water content should be checked periodically & maintained below 3%.
  • Evans Coolant is maintenance free for the life of the engine. Do not add water in any situation.

Please note that Benz does not approve the use of any waterless coolants. Their heat transfer capability is deficient. Never mind the spin.

Their only real benefit is higher boiling point & close to zero evapouration. In a closed, well controlled system with excess cooling capacity like a Benz this is moot.

I am not referring to the elements of the periodic table, but as the definition states, water being a part or aspect of something. H20 itself is not an element, but a substance or a compound.

Mercury is a liquid at room temperature. No water there!

But does make an excellent cooling fluid, provided you never get to its freezing point.
