Is windshield under warranty
Hi guys
Just got my CPO 2013 C250 last month. Today my windshield got a crack from a little rock hitting it. Is the windshield under the warranty? Anyone know how much it would cost if I have to replace with my own money?

Windshield damage.......................
.............if the rock chip is small - - - can often be treated via vacuum sealant treatment. GEICO authorized a no cost repair for me.

Yes, the windshield is covered under the car's warranty. The MB warranty is "bumper to bumper" for 4 years or 50K miles whichever hits first.
That being said, the warranty only covers manufacturing defects or failures in the components themselves. Warranties don't cover damage, no matter how they occurred. This is what insurance is for...
So, if the windshield started leaking, for instance, because the seal around it wore out and it was no longer water tight you would have a warranty claim. A rock impacting the windshield causing it to crack isn't such a warranty event.

I had to replace my windshield once. I had flipped my wipers up while I was washing the car and one of the blades accidently got pulled from the wiper arm as I was pulling them up and came back slamming into the window bare metal to window Cracked the entire window.
Cost ~$600 out of pocket through Safelite. I paid out of pocket and didn't file a claim through my insurance since my deductible was $750.
