To big fin or not?

I thought I was done but I'm now thinking about getting a CF big fin diffuser. On top of it, I'm going to get a CF front lip. I think the front lip makes an aesthetic difference but I'm not so sure about the big fin diffuser. What do you guys think?

I'm not a fan of those. I think the center part looks odd. Plus I see too many imports with them.

I think I know which you're referring to. Are the fins thinner on them?

The VFR Tuning big-fin carbon fiber rear diffuser looks pretty good:

They are also a vendor on here.

yep they are a bit thinner. it starts out about the same size as the fin you have picture above and it ends thinner, since its a bigger fin it has a bit more of aggressiveness to it.

My photoshop skills on my 2nd image is not the best but that is actually the ones I was interested in.

I chopped the diffuser off this image.

Wow that's actually the best rear shot I've seen of those diffuser. The reason I like this one is because my quad tips stick out slight more than stock and this diffuser will make it look more flushed.

It's a straight forward DIY installation, just like how you would install the stock diffuser. Here's a side view.

Definitely, if your tips stick out a tiny bit more than stock, the bigger fins should sit more flushed with your setup.

I like all the fins, they all look great. The big fins do add a bit of an aggressive look but they are not my favorite type. I prefer the smaller fins like Mode Carbons P31.

The FL version of the regular CF diffuser seems to be a medium size fin vs the Pre FL ones I've seen. It looks good. Not too tame but not too aggressive.

I like the bigger fins, but if you're getting a CF splitter, you really should have a CF diffuser.

Yup. But if if I don't get a big fin CF diffuser I will get an unpainted front lip and keep the OEM c63 diffuser I have on now.

Go big fin or medium aggressive fin. They make the car look a bit more bulky, filled in and just that much more menacing.

What spoiler is that? Doing some shopping for my (currently) stock black 2010 c300. Love the diffuser.

Thanks, the spoiler is the Brabus 3 piece type, had the center trunk piece painted and installed and left the outer pieces out. Not too small (like the AMG) but not too big (like DTM). Perfect balance of class and sportiness.

Ah okay. I looked at that one and didn't like the sides.. didn't occur to me I could just leave them off (i am not a smart man )

Looks good and I feel the same way you do about it regarding the class and sportiness.
