Headlight/Illuminated Star wiring help
I purchased an aftermarket illuminated LED grill star and have removed the stock star and popped the new one in. Now my problem is figuring out which wire to tap into to power it. I figure I can ground out the second wire anywhere on the body but I can't figure out which hot wire I should splice into. I would like the star to be lit with the day running lights and also at night and preferably even when the doors are locking/unlocking. I haven't seen any guides for installing one of these on a w204. I've attached a picture of the headlight wiring harness on the passenger side. Can anybody help me figure out which wire I need? Thanks in advance.

After mining the web for a couple of hours I came to find that the gray/white wire powers the passenger front standing and parking lamp. I used this to splice in the hot wire on the LED star and it works great. Connected the other wire to a grounding nut nearby. Now my LED star illuminates when locking/unlocking and runs with the daytime running lights and also at night with the normal headlights. Hope this helps out someone else. My car is a 2013 C250.

Also, from the 10 pinout plug on our car, you can see the following:
2009 Plug
1 - (brown wire) - Right wheelhouse ground point
2 - (yellow wire) - Right Low Beam
3 - (white wire) - Right High Beam
4 - (gray/white wire) - Right front standing and parking lamp
5 - (gray/red wire) - Right front standing light 2
6 - (black/green wire) - Right front turn signal lamp
7 - (black/blue wire) - *not sure*
8 - (green/blue wire) - *not sure*
9 - (brown wire) - Right wheelhouse ground point
2009 Plug
1 - (brown wire) - Right wheelhouse ground point
2 - (yellow wire) - Right Low Beam
3 - (white wire) - Right High Beam
