Grill gap - Defective piece or hood needs adjustment?

Hey all, as the title states. Just changed my grill and noticed a gap in the top portion. Tried googling similar scenario to none available. Any suggestions as to what I should be looking at next? Thanks in advance.

I have a similar grill which has the same gap. It's just the way the grill is designed. They should have made it a bit taller. I got used to it and don't notice it much now.

thx for the response/clarification. Hopefully I’ll get used to it as my OCD is already making me looking at alternatives haha

i was in the same boat as my OCD kicked in as well, but I couldn't find another grille that I liked enough to change to.

Doesn’t look bad on certain angles.

I got the same problem and it’s so anyway

I ordered a grill from Ali express and I have a gap between the hood and grill and it’s annoying me. Anyone know how to fix it or any links to grills that are the same but actually fit well (located in Canada)

I've had this grille and gap since 2018 when I got it. I learned to live with it since nothing can be done. Don't notice it anymore. There's no other solution but to buy another grille.

I wonder if the W204's hood can be adjusted like the W205? For example: https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...ender-gap.html
