Anyone have any dealer recommendations for a C400 fully loaded in the NYC area? Looking to be aggressive at about 15%. Could buy the car today.

The fleet discount is a fixed dollar amount and thus smaller % as the MSRP increase.
The dealers in NYC area is not givin gout discount that deep.
I've have to cross into PA to get any discount past 14% on C300. PM me if you want the info.

Does anyone know if dealer cash incentives (eg. Winter event) can only be applied at time of car pickup or can it be applied now even if I'm ordering a custom build car that won't deliver for another 2-3 months?
Basically I want to know if I order a custom build car now that won't be here for a while, can I still apply the current cash incentives on a car that technically won't be available for another 2-3 months down the road? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick replay. Will be purchasing in Chicago. Looking through the thread looks like no more doubling of the Winter $2000 cash incentive. I'm looking to ask for the $2000 Winter incentive. Can I add other incentive onsuch as $1000 Dealer cash incentive or $2500 professional society membership or only 1 at a time?

Awesome thread, thank you! I am interested in a C300 Sport, heavily optioned, buying in NC.
My employer benefit program entitles me to the Fleet Entitlement Program, but the details about what that is are almost non-existent. I searched on google and found that it's supposed to be a $500 discount... but discount off what? And are there exclusions about what it can be combined with? I saw others mention FEP being $2000 or $2500 I think.. so which is correct? If it's $500 but can't be combined with any other incentive then that's probably useless. If it's $500 additional off any negotiated price.. then great! When should I mention it? Any general tips on this FEP program would be much appreciated.
I'm also hoping someone can please help me with the winter event because I'm wondering if I need to panic and buy in the next 48 hours. Since I want a specifically specified car (honestly I don't know how anyone spends $50K and doesn't get a car precisely how they want it!! :-)) then I expect I'm looking at a March+ delivery so maybe the winter event is out the window anyway because it does clearly say it only applies for cars delivered by 12/31. Should I be concerned? That's quite a strong incentive for me to compromise on my dream options list I guess.
Sorry for all the Qs, and thanks for all the help so far. I promise to reciprocate by sharing whatever I eventually learn!
PS The net of this thread to me at the moment is that if I come as a cash buyer, ask for ~13% off MSRP, I might be in the right ball park?

I was just able to get 15% off MSRP with little to no haggling but I had to compromise on the options. To me its worth it. My salesman said cash or finance made no difference in the price

good luck with that.. i did a lot of looking around. and most ppl that were getting that kinda discount, it was on cars that have very few packages and every dealer has them. the ones that are well loaded say MSRP >60k its hard to get that kinda deal or to even find them at dealers. my car's MSRP was 60,700 and i got just abt 10% discount and was happy with it, because i didn't want someone else grabbing that car.
So its your gamble. you can private msg me ill give you my dealer's contact info and see if he can work with you.

By the way, coming as a cash buyer means nothing to a dealer when buying a car. In fact, he maybe willing to give you a slightly better deal if he thinks he may make some money off you by financing through him (even if at the end of the day you don't). But either way the dealer will get paid as soon as they sell you the car. It's not like buying a house.

I'd say that's an excellent deal! I was also able to get a 14% discount off a C400 last weekend (DC area). I've never really been a huge fan of Mercedes, but this car is quite impressive! A lot more sporty than I expected and very fun to drive.

The fleet incentive is not on top of the winter event, it is whichever is higher. So since the winter event is $2000 off MSRP, you will get just that. However, these cars are flying off the lots at great discounts, and yes, you will need to take delivery by 12/31. That is when the winter event ends, and also the dealer wants the highest tally of sold cars before year end.

NYE options
$46,685 MSRP was offered for today drive off at "better than $40k" (almost 15% off) including $2.5K Fleet incentive.
Custom order was offered for 3% off MSRP plus $2.5K also off for fleet, but warned that fleet discount might be different by time of arrival (estimate April).
Thoughts? Wish there was one on lot that had what I wanted!
PS Location is NC

I got my c300 off the loaner fleet in mint condition with 3400 miles on it for 43999. MSRP was 51250 as optioned and since it was technically pre owned I was able to get an unlimited mile 5 year warranty for and extra 1k. Put me at about 15% discount.

Hate to say it but an early production loaner with 3,400 miles on it, having to pay extra for extended warranty when it should already be CPO'd and especially when 15% shockingly isn't even a great discount, but simply already average on this brand new car, maybe isn't the best way to go about it?

I bought a 10/14 build C300 with 48 miles on it in early December. Steel Grey, sport package, premium package, panoramic roof, command, blind spot assist, black ash trim, hands free, air balance.
MSRP: $52,565
Paid: $42,500
Discount: $10,065 (19.14%)
My car was used. It was a prize in a casino promotion where the winner chose the cash option rather than a car. They had to title the car though. While my deal isn't significantly better than some of the ones posted for "new" cars, I am happy enough as the car is CPO, so I got a 5th year/unlimited miles warranty for free. Plus the car was effectively brand new (albeit used), with the miles on it from a previous test drive.
