W205 Discount challenge!

With Winter incentives expiring, when is the next time period we will see 12%+ discounts? I noticed the discounts of all my local dealers are $2K less now taking out the winter incentives. Any guidance?

On of the local dealers called me yesterday saying that the 2014 incentives had been extended until tomorrow Monday Jan 5th, however they wouldn't even come close to the deals posted here. The best was about 10% off with fleet discount. They argued that employee discount is 10% when I showed a 20% deal that had been posted. One dealer even tried to charge a 0.0021 money factor. What's amazing to me is how they can say this stuff with a straight face. It would appear that west coast dealers have a different relationship with Mercedes that those in the midwest. It really illustrates the power of these boards and I applaud those who have shared the details of their deals.

How does 20% Off Sound?
I have been a BMW guy for many decades. However, when I saw the new C300 I knew immediately I would have to give in to my wife and buy a Benz. So, I spent the 3 weeks looking for a 2015 C300 4matic. Here is exactly what I wanted.
Iridium Sliver, Black MB Tex, Gloss & Aluminum Trim, Premium Package, Rearview camera, Heated front seats, 18" Twin 5-spoke wheels, Garmin Map Pilot and NO sunroof.
After dozens of phone calls and texts, I got exactly the car I wanted at an amazing price. I started out by going the Edmunds.com route to get an idea of how these cars were being priced in my area (San Francisco Bay area). I got some good prices but one discount blew me away, $7900 off MSRP. I called the dealer and sure enough, all his C300's were priced at $7900 off MSRP. Instead of jumping at that price I shopped it around to several other dealers. One went to $8000 off right away. I then shopped that price around by email and phone calls. Once I had 4 dealers all offering $8000 off, I then visited each internet manager. From the get-go I made sure they knew the car I wanted. It was a tough find and along the way they offered a lot of alternatives but I held my ground. Finally, one dealer offered $9000 off MSRP. They had a car close to what I wanted but I declined. The same day I got a text from the original dealer telling me he was able to dealer trade for the exact car I wanted but it was in transit and would not arrive until 12/30 or 12/31 (original promotions end date). No car arrived on those dates. I was working a deal on the car that came closest to what I wanted on 12/31 when we got news that MBUSA had extended their sale through 1/2/15. My car showed up the evening of New Years Day! Made it with a day to spare.
So here is the deal I got. MSRP for the car is $45,455 without the $600 Garmin MAP PILOT. I got an unexpected $250 savings on the wheels since MBUSA is doing a special promotion on them called PM2 Package. The car is EXACTLY as specified above, including the Garmin MAP PILOT SD card (which works well, btw). My purchase price, including the Garmin SD card was $36,955 plus T&L. So, I got a Mercedes Benz for the price of a VW. I'm happy! Thank you, Barry Flores at RAB Motors!
Now, I'm shopping for a Mercedes Benz ELW, 6 years or 100K. So far, I've got a low price of $2150 for 6 years 100K vs 7 years at $2900 from Sandra Snyder at Eurocars in Bethesda, MD. My dealer said they can't touch that price. If anyone knows of a better deal, PLEASE let me know.
Always looking for the best deal!

Mercedes C300, BMW X5
I put in an order just last week. If this number of concerns and quality screw ups continue to be reported, I'll take my deposit back. People can do half-*** jobs and management if they want, they won't get my hard earned cash.
IF anyone from Mercedes is on the board, I encourage a posted update of the action Mercedes is doing to fix the issues. Otherwise, this car should honestly stop production.
No, I don't think that this is an overstatement. (anticipating other users replies)

By all means, take your deposit back if you do not believe Mercedes is up to the quality control you expects. If you can refuse delivery after inspecting the car and get your money back, that may give you a bit more time to decide.
This is a deal discussion for the post. Lets keep it on topic.

Be careful of just negotiating the price of the car on the lease. Dealers will make up for it by adding extra onto the acquisition fee($795) and marking up the base money factor rate like on a C300 (.00136-3.264% and .00126-3.024% with autopay). Talking about money factors, I have seen a dealer actually quote someone a .00230 money factor (5.5%) on a C300 and said that is the best rate with tier 1 credit.
So when you negotiate, please verify what money factor you are getting. The money factors do change every so often, but this is just one more thing to do your due diligence on. In California, the money factor is not even shown on the paperwork.
For those of you have gotten deals already, and want to find out what money factor you have, follow this formula:
(gross capitalized cost + residual value)x = Rent charge/lease term
solve for X, that will be your money factor
Some of you might be in for a big surprise...
I hope some of this insight will help everyone get a better deal. The new C class is a game changer.

The lowest price I was able to find for ELW for the C-class for 7/100K was $2700 and there's no tax.

2015 c300
are these C-class NOT selling at all??? I'm shopping for a new car, and here in Baltimore/DC area I've gotten 16.7% OFF MSRP, or $7,390 off MSRP. That's before negotiating at all and without any incentives or rebates.
Edmunds also says there're over 300 C300s sitting at lots around here..
I might have to pick one up soon. Wonder if they'll be even more rebates coming by end of yr. MBUSA says $2000 incentives on some models..

The factory went for quantity over quality in the states and some dealers lots have multiple cars of nearly identical (yet basic) builds. The problems with the QC and overstock are well known.
Update for in Florida at least, which doesn't sound as aggressive as other areas, you can expect around 5-10% off for a build down here with ~70day lead time, or 15% if one on the lot. If you can live with silver, black mbtex, pano roof, premium and Command with no other options, every dealer has tons of them, I'd shoot for 20% including rebates.

W205 C250 Diesel Estate AMG Line Premium Plus
So I'm in the UK.
I got a C250 Estate AMG Line Bluetec Premium Plus Pack, with privacy glass. OTR price was over £41,000. I got the car for £35,500 roughly. Making the total discount about £5,500 or 13.5%.
The car was one in stock with another dealer, so I took delivery of the car less than a week after ordering it.
