Please don't hate me for saying this, but it's a very bad deal you got. Last Christmas, they offered me the same price for a brand new C300 without me even negotiating. Granted the discount is different now, but for a used one, it sounds like a rip off

No worries, I posted my numbers to get feedback, and I thank you for your feedback. How much do you think I could have aimed for? According to KBB, fair value was 36,892, and according to Edmunds, 35,654. Could I have aimed for 10-20% off the 34,881? Or maybe 10-20% off the sticker price of 36,998? According to TrueCar, the MSRP would have been 41,625 for a new one.

Based on your MSRP you paid 82% of MSRP. I do think it was a bit high but not bad. I think fair value for a used after one year is 75-80% of MSRP. However this car is still current year since 2016 don't arrive till next month. I bought a CPO too for 78% of MSRP but mine had an extra 3k miles.

I think he misinterpreted you. He thought MSRP was 36,900.

For this car, using KBB wouldn't be right. They deduct certain percentage from msrp to calculate fair value. But if the car is sold new with 20% off msrp, even if they subtract 15% off msrp after one year, it might still be higher than some of deals people got

What they do is give the excellent deal up front on leases, but if you look at the payoff on your contract carefully, after lease is up it's the same as MSRP when vehicle is fully paid.

Hi Everyone,
First post here. I appreciate all of the great info on here.
I'm looking to lease a C300 when my current lease is up next year. My question is, has anyone used an auto broker to buy/lease their cars? These are "non-traditional" dealers that negotiate directly with MBFS, usually significantly cheaper than a dealership, and they deliver the car to your door. e.g. The Lease Outlet, Evolution Leasing (FL).
Thanks in advance!

Not only did I get 13.2% off the sticker price on my ordered 2015 C300 Sport 4Matic, I got $3,000 MORE for my trade than what two BMW dealerships offered me.
