With all the 15 still sitting in the lot and the 16 are rolling out, what kind of discounts are people getting now? My lease is coming up with the e-class and since the new e-class is still a year out, we have decided to potentially pick up a C300 for the time being. Any comments will be appreciated.

Try Fort Washington, I got over 12% from them with an ordered '15 C300 late last year. Off the lot should be more.

Kind of both. I talked to the salesman I dealt with on my previous purchase and he built a car with me in mind. I didn't ask him to order the car so I didn't have any financial commitment to buy it when it arrived. He offered $7k off MSRP before I even saw it.

so i guess aiming for 20% off msrp for those sitting on the lot may not be such a stretch since there's a boat load of them..searched two dealerships around me and each of them has 50+ 15s..

I can't participate in the challenge as I bought a 3 month old demonstrator rather than new, but I'll post the numbers here as it may be of interest to UK buyers. All UK dealers will run "demonstrators" of many MB models - typically these are assigned to company manager / directors and available for test drives. MBUK mandates that they must be run 3 months before being sold.

Discount on retail was 21% on a C300 hybrid - 3 months old with 4,500 miles. (36,000 vs list of 45,545 GBP)

The best offers I had on a new C300 were 11.9% discount on cash deal and 15.6% discount on the MB finance deal.

Hi guys, San Diego, CA here.

Anybody have any luck negotiating on a C450 yet? I have an interim build since 9/18 and with all the options chosen it's coming out to $64,080 MSRP with delivery in late December. Dealer says he can't give me any discounts until possibly delivery date but I know that's BS. I didn't give the refundable deposit yet and I've contacted the other local MB dealerships to see if an earlier allocation slot is available to edit and potentially use for negotiating purposes.
However, I just read earlier in this thread that LA is where I want to buy if I know what I want because they can provide discounts easier. I have no problem buying from LA but if that was for the C300 and not the C450 then I might as well stay local.

Soooooooooo, can anybody recommend an LA dealer/salesperson that I can test out for discounts?

They had offered $3000 off a 2015 but didnt really have any stock. Plus i wanted the latest MY available so it worked out.
They dropped the fleet discounts by $500 on the MY2016 as well but it was worth the $500 to get the 2016.
I love this dealership. They are top notch. If anyone needs a salesman lmk via PM. My salesman is by far the best you will deal with just as a person and advocate for you. Makes you feel like family not a customer.

I ordered a MY2016 C300 4Matic Sport with a MSRP of $60,265 (includes destination and delivery) and just got word that it has arrived. The dealer offered a $5,525 discount at the time of order, but I think I can get close to $6,500 off now. Edmunds (forums) is telling me that with $2000 cash down/total, a 10k/36mo lease should be $629/mo and a 7.5k/36mo should be $612/mo, both include 8.75% sales tax. Has anyone leased a C300 close to this negotiated price, $53,765? Do those monthly payments sound right? Thanks.

18% is a good deal. I think on a 2015, you can ask for 20%, but 18% is not bad at all.

Got 5% off MSRP on my 2016 C450 from MB of Fort Washington when I ordered it in May. We finally took delivery of the car on Monday and ever since, its been my garage queen due to the heavy rains lately.

Northern Maine. Small dealership. They have only one allocated C450 AMG. November 3rd decade build. 5% off MSRP plus another $2,000 for American Medical Association member, plus another $500 off for MBCA member. Total off $5305 or 9.3% of MSRP of my build.

C450 AMG, MSRP = 60,250, Discount = $3,750 (6.2%). 2k using USAA car buying service and another $1.75k from dealer. They had 3 vehicles identical except for color. They were discounting C300s and E400s more but this was the most they'd go on the C450 AMG.

I was in similar boat. I only could get $2,000 after shopping couple dealers on the C450. That came out to be a 3.3% discount based on $59,000
