Hi,
a few weeks ago, I got my hands on a "C180" over here in Germany. I took the chance to record two small videos, that show how to fully disengage ESP and how to get Engine Oil Temperature Gauge into your Driver Information Center!

Do not fully disable the ESP on the road ~ only for Dyno purposes!

I could see displaying the temp but why would one wants to disengage the ESP from displaying?

I disengage my ESP once or twice a year in my winter car (4matic) to have fun in the parking lot. Other that that it is pretty pointless...

In SA our insurance companies have got wise to this practice. If you are involved in an accident or claim they interrogate the ECU/OBD. If ESP/BAS etc. is disabled they won't pay the claim.
