No, I was going to until my dealership said I may have to check any error codes after battery disconnection. I had an authorised Crash Repairer do it for me.

On the verge of ordering this diamond grille. Is this a safe seller though? Just scared of buying it and having it not fit or cause some sort of issue. Should i go through with it? Also, how much did it the shop charge you guys to install this in?

I had no problems with the seller, delivery was very fast. My MB dealership fitted my grill took them about 1 hour and 30 mins did have few mirror problems but they got around it. They charged me £120 for fitting it.
I have an extra diamond grille at home that i won't be needing in the future, its unused. Willing to sell it for $200, as you can find one for $245 on eBay. Im in edmonton, alberta, canada, and u can email me @ sahajchopra@hotmail.com

You need to check if the diamond star illumination system is removable from existing grille. The Muscle Leopard grilles allow the original star, be it a distronic star or exposed star, to be fitted on their grilles.
Some manufacturers of these after-market grilles do not allow fitting of original star, so you need to have an explicit answer from them before buying.
You'd need to contact your lessor about changing to an aftermarket grille and I guess it depends on the conditions of your contract, but you could always put the original grille back in when the lease is up.

My dealer was given me the, "we cannot install a non OEM part" line. So I said screw it and ended installing it myself. Not terribly hard, took about 2 hours. A lot of improvising from the PDF instructions provided by Vic. Got everything back together, lost only one screw. Will post pictures shortly.

durability - 4 months just like OEM, no fading or chips.
