My c400 msrp was $53,800 and I paid $44,000 plus tax so close to $10 grand off of msrp.

Wow. Did you have a trade? If so, what was it and what did they give you? Also, did they tack on any extra charges such as the classic advertizing fees, dearler prep, VIN etching, etc?

No didn't trade in my 330xi they were not giving me a good price on it. but no the car price we agreed on was $44,000, but yes there was paperwork fee which was 300 so making the car price 44,300 registration and other is just what the state of NY takes from you. so $44,300 plus tax is that good? lol I think its great cuz I was talking to another Benz dealer and they would not even drop the price by 5000. I went to buy a cla250 drove a c300 and bought a c400, go figure.

this was prestige Benz in NJ. is that good? cuz I did not do any research on the c400, I went go look at and buy audi A5, but its a 4 seater so went to Benz looked at cla 250 and didn't like it c300 hated the ride so ended up driving the c400 and buying it on the spot.

we kept it very simple, it was NJ dealer so we told him the price of 44,000 and we knew there will be 300 paper fee and 250 ny registration fee. no clue about any other fee they tack on, usually in nj is just paper processing fee.

2015 C300
I'd say that's a really good deal. Including the fees, that's about 17% off MSRP. Very comparable to what you can get in California, and that market is known to have some of the best deals in the country.

That is indeed a very good deal IMO.

Question:
How was the ride different between the C300 and C400? just curious, I have not spent time on a C400 - I am assuming they were both SP?. Besides the weight difference the suspension should be very similar.

I guess ride was not so much of the issue I guess it was power. I know c400 and c300 r different class. I didn't think I would get this price cuz of msrp diff is so much.
BMW drive is great not the ride. I guess I m getting old so I need the ride to be great.
I also think just cuz c450 is coming out u can get great deal. But in my opinion c450 is going to be over 57 or 58 k well 10k is a huge jump for more HP
