I did think about the rocker panel inserts. The guy who did the wrap on my spoiler suggested it and said he could likely wrap them in gloss black (which would be cheaper than buying the AMG add-on parts), but as you said, I think that might be overkill on the black accents.

As a BMW owner I am about a week from my first Mercedes purchase ever - 2016 C450 - and I've been reading about the C43 switch. For what it's worth... so far, my sales person (not the most well-informed guy I ever met, so take this with a grain of salt...) seems to think my first week of March order will be delivered as late as end of May, early as first of May and will be a C450 - NOT a C43. Being that I had to tell him several things he didn't know about the switch, who knows if he is right, but there's news from today.
My question for today... Has anyone successfully installed spacers on the wheels of your C450? I am curious about brands and issues (rubbing, etc.) and while I see some posts re this topic, I haven't seen any resounding recommendations for the C450. I will have the 19 inch wheels on my car, so...

Last BMW I bought was a 1974 2002, Tii-basically, it fell apart.
You'll love the Benz but be sure to buy an extended Benz warranty and dealer maintenance. Prices for each ARE NEGOTIABLE. Others here will recommend some guy that is king of the warranty sales, about whom I express no opinion.
It's a wonderful little car, and runs like a scalded dog!
Congrats nvester!!! Finally she has arrived!!! Yeah, i love my 450 too. Its a very solidly built car except for the rare shifting lag when reaccelerating from slowing down. But other than that shes puurrrfect! To me at least, my wife wants to trade up to a CLS already

Question: How do you guys feel about splash guards/mud flaps? While washing, I noticed that the rims/tires stick out quite a bit beyond the lower part of the fenders and I have no doubt that the tires will throw rocks and dirt up the side of the car.
I'm not overly worried about the car getting dirty, more worried about dirt and rocks destroying the bottom of the side sills... My car is a lease and I don't want to get dinged with charges because of that... Thoughts?

I want them but so far Benz doesn't make them for the 450.

In Canada, all C450's come with what you call the Interior Package, regardless of upholstery chosen. Mine has ambient lighting and the nice dash! Its great!
Edit: Oh, and here's another shot of the seats. Don't have any of the sills at the moment. I do have the illuminated sills.

Ebay or Amazon. Got them months before my car came in. Looks good since I have the Black Leather seats with Red stitching and seat belts.
Once thing I cannot believe is that the Interior Package doesn't come with the choice of Red ambient lighting -- at least not in the US. I mean, CLA's can come with red ambient lighting...
