Not that it means much/anything but just thought it was interesting: Floyd Mayweather just bought his son a C450. A father knows best I guess. Lol

No one answered my question so far so I'll ask again: does anyone know what music file format is supported in the C450? For sure MP3 but does it handle the looseless format of music like flac?
Also what support is used : SD cards or mini SD cards ?
Thanks

"
COMAND supports MP3 files of the following
types:
fixed and variable bit rates from 32 kbit/s
to 320 kbit/s
sampling rates of 8 kHz to 48 kHz
COMAND supports WMA files of the following
types:
fixed bit rates from 5 kbit/s to 384 kbit/sR
sampling rates of 8 kHz to 48 kHz"
However, it does support both bluetooth streaming (which won't end up lossless obviously) and has an Aux port, so if you have files already in FLAC format and don't want to convert, you can still find ways to play them.
If you are looking for sound quality, the cabin of the C450 isn't a studio or even a Lexus. Exhaust, road, and wind noise will all be present, and as such, the difference between a high bit-rate compressed file and a lossless file is meaningless, but you still have the Aux port if it is important to you.

I find bluetooth streaming easiest. With everything in the cloud, I can't remember the last time I downloaded a single song. I should however, extract some from my 4th gen ipod that's somewhere in my trunk of my daily driver

I don't believe it will support FLAC via SD card. From the manual:

sorry this is what i got from the dealership
A0006660228. This is for the previous generation C. From what I can tell, people have been using this part number on the 2015 and 2016 Cs.
A0007660328 (different part number for the rear pins)

Thanks, and I have those. Fwiw, my Bellevue wa dealing is saying no part is yet listed and those parts last fit 2014 c models. I think the local yokel is wrong in speculating a new part will be needed. We'll see.

320kbps and 48 khz is already not bad.
I know the C450 is not a studio but in my Audi with bang and Olufsen sound system it makes a difference despite wind and wheels noise.
Now to have loose less I can still use a CD.
@brutus I would love to go test in the car but there is no C450 available in any provider here. My order is the first one...

or there were a couple AMG GT's available as well. 1,000 and 2,000 km. wonder what kind of hit that guy took trading that back in...

I bought a set off Ebay for the C117 (CLA250/CLA45). All four are the same dimension. This set fit my C400 perfectly. Both the front and rear sit flush when locked and they all threaded on. I recommend using some thread locker to keep the "AMG" lined up where you want it.

looking up the paris used car inventory website, there is a pretty bad *** C63s wagon on the lot. tell them you want to test drive that bad boy![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

From what I hear the my are different. Amazon is selling some for 99 bucks for a full set. Will buy them soon and check them out once I get paid. The dealership is selling them for 40 bucks a pop. I have an email from the will check to see if they have part numbers on them.
sorry this is what i got from the dealership
A0006660228. This is for the previous generation C. From what I can tell, people have been using this part number on the 2015 and 2016 Cs.

As you seem knowledgable about AMG parts, do you have any idea where we can find the AMG metal badge we can see on C63 W205 above the ashtray cover? This badge is smaller and different from the one usually on the trunck of the car.

Hi Cajun, how are these installed? Are they simply put over the stock pins or shoud we remove the old ones?
