Apparently my *****ing was heard in the halls of Stuttgart. My salesman e-mailed me today and said the price of the interior package dropped to $2150 from $2880. Also the night package dropped by $100 so it's now $200.

On another note, those lease rates are atrocious. I'm debating canceling my order, or maybe I'll just buy the car. It is expected to arrive by the 20th.
Impressive... $2480 was the original price of the 317 package, I wonder where the $330 came from? They felt bad that they had to pull the plug on the ventilation?
Just received my VIN from the dealer on Monday, my C450 should be arriving in a week or less. before Sept 10 is what I was told.
Sucks to hear they did away with the vented seats, I was looking forward to that!! I paid for leather interior too (Cranberry Red) now I'm wondering if I'm gona be able to get a price cut off the MSRP. I negotiated a 5% off MSRP prior to the car's arrival about 1.5months ago.
Will keep you guys posted as more details are given to me! Also, i saw a recent you tube video of the exhaust in action and I LOVE IT! sounds like a M but nowhere near an AMG.

If the sales rep is accurate I plan on picking the car next Friday 9/11 after a Thursday evening Philly concert (Mike Peters of the Alarm). I did not plan on driving a brand the new vehicle in a marginal area of Philly. Actually of of downtown Philly is kinda of marginal

Yeah, def gonna try to not drive the new car in the sketchier parts of philly, even the roads in those neighborhoods are like trenches!But this baby is gonna rip on the 95 which i live right next to.

Jay, U Dah Man! You just saved me $830 now I don't feel so bad on the modest cash discount off MSRP (~4%). $2,880 for the interior package was way over-priced but I definitely wanted the ambient lighting and the illuminated door sills.
At the moment there really is only one finance option and that is purchase the vehicle. Thanks for the great news with the interior and night packages. See what you can do with dropping the premium 2 package retail price. I think that is about $500 over priced.
My original build had the 317 interior package priced at $2480, I wonder if mine would also drop to $2150 as well.
So the one in front of mine, which is complete as of this morning and in D4 status, which had 318 Interior package (which included 401 Heated and Ventilated Front Seats) was build without vented seats
The 318 package was changed to 317
I thought there was hope for the vented seats, but it looks like they have gone the way of the Surround View (360 Camera)

I wonder whatever happened to the COMPLIMENTARY night package that was quoted in the C450 press release. This is a great vehicle but M-B is nickel and diming us on the builds.

Yeah, I remember the "complimentary" wording and then it showed up on a couple builds for $300, and maybe now it dropped to $200
I liked that option, but I wasn't real big on the blacked out tail pipe trim.
Yes, I would definitely ask for that... it's basically your tracking number. The dealer should be able to provide a single sheet (maybe two) that has a complete breakdown of your build along with a PO number at the top and some specifics about the dealer. This should be something that he can email you as a PDF.
I wasn't even aware that there was a night trim available for the c450. my sales guy wasn't too in the know with the build. I hope the night package is complimentary, if not what's the best approach to DIY the effect on these vehicles?

62% residual
3.9% interest
39 months/18000kms
Which comes down to about C$800 per month with $2000 down (Before discounts off MSRP)
But what is holding me back is that the night package is NOT offered in Canada. I think that package makes or breaks the car's exterior. Is it possible to have the parts painted by the dealer or a body shop?

I liked his idea of blacking out everything in the night styling except for the exhaust. (Granted it's hard to compare the C450's exhaust with the C63/C63S' exhaust, but it gives you an idea of what can be done after the fact).

I would check on the darker tint, I think that might be excluded from the US build due to some DOT regulation.

That's really strange... if you search the Canadian DOG for "AMG Performance Seat" (not plural, plural will miss some) you get hits with the AMG GT S, and then the only C-Class reference is on page 77 under the heading C 63 S Packages & Highlights.
They did actually add build capability for the GLE recently, including the ability to build the 2016 GLE450 AMG Sport coupe.
I slammed them on a site survey that they gave me the other day... this is really starting to get ridiculous.
I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact they have a lot of 2015 inventory sitting on dealers lots. But given you can't build a 2015 for manufacture anymore, they need to update their system.

Excellent Pick-up on the "Night Package Plus" designation. I think that is the justification for the additional charge.
I would rather have the chrome tail pipes on my build but I did not like the look of the grey diffuser so an all black exterior vehicle was the winner.
I cannot believe the MBUSA website still does not have the C450. It has been on M-B Germany website since March 2015.

Hey autopal, I don't think the AMG Performance Seats are available here. Also, some of the items on the Canadian configurator are incorrect:
Notably, the 19" wheels do cost extra, the red seat-belts cost extra, there is NO carbon fibre nor silver matte option for the interior.

I think alot of AMG Performance goodie are left soley for the C63s. The Night Package which we know isn't available for the C450, is also not available for the C63.
Bummer...but I think they will be available in future production years as incentives to upgrade.
