Don't be afraid, though, to go for the C450 if it make better financial sense. I love my C450, and have no problem with the 7 speed, even though I have no doubt the 9 speed is an upgrade. The only mod I plan on doing is to upgrade the exhaust.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have an 18" wheels and the DWS 06 is only available in 19" on tirerack.
Appreciate the suggestion. How does the road noise and ride quality compare to the OEM runflats?
Thanks for your comments. I will ask the MB dealership if they will include an alignment check.

I think the C450 is a hell of a car, and like autopal said, the 9G is an upgrade but may not be so much fun in Manual mode IMO. I opted for an aftermarket exhaust with AWE tuning touring edition and the car simply roars. The C43 will not be worth 7-10K more at trade in 3 yrs down the line contrary to what someone has said in an earlier response, it will only cost you 7-10K more for a car that is essentially the same car minus the tranny.

$1250 option for the Performance Exhaust.

For sure the C43 will be worth up to $10K more in 3 years than the C450 in this situation , partly because of its newer features - 9-speed and AMG designation , but PRIMARILY because the C43 is a 1 year newer model .

There is no way on earth the 2017 c43 will be worth 10k more than a 2016 c450. It is merely a re-badge with a new trans. I can see it carrying a 5k premium over the 450 a few years down the road, but even now, the prices are comparable (before discounts).

Mercedes Benz c450 winter drive
Hello All
I bought my brand new c450 in february of 2016. Never had a chance to drive it in winter with lot of snow. I live in Maryland and we do have a decent amount of snow sometimes up till 4 feet. How well does the car hold up per say if it snows like a feet? I do not expect it to rock and roll on 4 feet obviously
I would really appreciate if someone can share their opinions.
Also, I am planning to get a set of nice winter tires so that my car can handle the snow. Could member please give some suggestions as to what would be best tire options.
Thanks
CK

The all wheel drive is phenomenal, but to be fair, so is most modern all wheel drive cars, as long as you have good winter tires. You can't go wrong with Michelin X ice or Bridgestone Blizzaks

Hello Autopal
Oh wow, I obviously am in a better weather scenario then you are
Currently I have the sport tires that came with the car. So your suggestion is to basically get a good set of winter tires preferably Michelin X ic or Bridgestone Blizzaks and I should be good, correct?
Thanks
