Yep! & SA has been told you don't have to have the red accents & belts if you don't want them.

Those sort of colour combos will definitely be available in Designo. Standard probably a little more restricted.

AMG products in SA tend to come fully spec'ed (somewhat to justify the price). SA customers are used to waiting for cars to be built to their spec. They seldom buy off the floor. Then you take things off your AMG you don't want at order. If you buy off the floor they are full house/fully loaded.

Quote from review:
"Ah, there it is...hidden, quite literally, around a corner.
I'd been searching for it - the AMG-ness within the brand-new C450 AMG 4 Matic - for the first half an hour behind the wheel, admittedly commuting through rural villages, during our preview drive in Portugal recently. But it just wasn't there..."
Wait for it

Glad to see the author of the drive.com article then goes on to find the positive qualities of the car.

I read that article over lunch. It goes on to say it delivers very good performance in the corners and deserves the "AMG" title (paraphrasing of course).

Thanks Mr. Enigma. I'm happy to be wrong in this case. I just saw "But is just wasn't there..." and I flashed back to all the nasty threads we've been seeing up here for the last few months. I'll gladly edit my previous post now.

No problems. I hope, under the watchful eye of the mods, this one doesn't turn sour too.
Update from my dealer, first part is for my C300, no news for the C450
Hi Bernard,
Your vehicle is still in production, and a VIN has not been created yet. However, it's estimated to finish production on April 6th.
Still no updates on the C450 AMG Sport, but there have been a few calls about it, so I'm eager to get new information.

Don't think we are going to get this car in the UK this year. Seen a few websites saying next summer before we get it. They seem to think its to do with the 4matic system and right hand drive.
Im in Canada. I just got into a C400 and i absolutely love it. But dammmn that c450 looks stunning. Im hoping itll take a year or two for it to come here. That way my lease would be coming to an end and i can upgrade

MB USA says "2016 C450 AMG SPORT 4MATIC arrives in the U.S. in the fall of 2015." I'm guessing September price release.

I'm guessing June/July price release and order dates so cars should run off the car lot in September?
I saw a sweet looking 335i M-Sport yesterday. I'm tempted...
