The exhaust note sounds great, although it could be throatier/deeper...however, the crackling and popping sounds amazing...brings back memories of that one weekend when I rented a F430 and whipped it around manhattan for 3 days....but like 1/10 as loud...

Can't tell in the pics, are the stitches on the dash and steering matches the seats in red? Or are they white?

The stitching is white on black dash and center console. But the red leather seats and steering wheel both have black stitching.

At this point can we definitively confirm LED lights are standard even without the lighting package?
Also, do any of the early orders have ventilated seats?
Lastly, our order has Designo saddle interior without P2 package, yet mbusa configurator states it is required. Is it most likely to arrive with or without P2?

I got a quote from a dealer here in Ohio for a C450 that I think is pretty damn competitive, LMK what you all think.
MSRP is $63,305 + $925 delivery, I'm offered $59,018, that's a $5k savings or 8% off retail.
Using a MF of 0.0019 and 36mo/12k (58% residual) I get a lease payment in my tax rate of around $849/mo.
Seems like a no-brainer. I had originally wanted a CLA45 but MB USA is royally screwing around with pricing and availability and my current lease ends shortly.
I'm thinking I'm going to take this!

The wraps are some serious buck. Too rich for my blood. The dealer will take care of my small scratches and dings and I have a killer body shop for the big stuff. Hopefully, I will not need any of the big stuff with the C450.
The add-ons after the sale are worst then buying a new iPhone.
![Rant](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rant2.gif)
* $1,300 prepaid 4 years maintenance
* $2,200 tire and wheel protection plus 5 years
* $2,500 7 yr/75K miles extended warranty
* $ 500 for 3 years for basic mbrace
And I still need a winter tire package ~$1,800
... Dang I am broke but will have piece of mind.

TMoney, Congrats to you and yours on the new ride. It looks amazing. I'm curious about the quality of the ride in Comfort mode. Is it noticeably more firm than your other rides?

The pup, however, is not allowed in the C450 yet...at least maybe for the first year lol...

I ended up getting a rate of 3.7% APR on either 48mo or 60mo, i opted for 48mo with no early payoff penalty with $8K down.

For a 36-mo/12k lease with $0 down they want $962/mo. This includes maintenance, which I believe is $975 from the MB website. I am getting a figure of $902 from online lease calculators, not sure where the extra $60/mo is coming from.
For a loan we're looking at $1,137/mo for 60 months, 2.99% interest rate.
I am not a noob to leasing by any stretch, this would be my 6th leased car, so why is my lease number so much higher than theirs?
Edit: Added PDF of my lease calc.

Leasing is so pricey. I'm paying $1116/mo for 48mo, no maintenance, for my loan @ 3.74% interest rate after $8k down. my purchase price before taxes and fees for the vehicle is $54,003. had received a 5% discount off MSRP.

The C450 is spankier, newer, shinier, lots of fun interior options, the S5 is a bit dated inside but it still has it where it counts and it purrrrrs.
Now to decide...

However, if MB is truly lowballing the values then in theory some other dealer will buy the car at lease end because there's equity in the vehicle.
I've done this exactly once with a Toyota Sienna we leased. We had a 3-yr/36k lease and we only ended up putting about 25k miles on the odo, I got $2k in tradein equity towards a new lease.

Actually the residual on the C450 for 36 months is not bad...59%. But, the problem is the money factor is .00230, which works out to about 5.5%. By contrast, the E350 money factor is practically 0.

I got a MF of 0.0022, not much better. I can't honestly think what MB's strategy is - both BMW and Audi offer much more competitive residuals and money factors and thus lower lease payments. I mean, I'm looking at similarly priced S5 and C450 and the Audi is $100/mo or more cheaper.

I love me some Nappa leather but seems like only the base sport seat has unified red stitching throughout.

These pictures are hard to tell, but the rear light is leading me to believe that these are not LED... you make the call.
Here is the 2016 C-Class order guide for comparison:

I have seen vented seats listed on the specs from a couple dealer's inventories, but I can't say that I have seen or heard of anyone taking delivery of a 450 with vented seats. The build in front of mine (an August build) started with vented seats and ended without them.

My build had started with ventilated seats and ended without them. very frustrating, I was looking forward to the cool air in those hot muggy places.
Also, MB started charging for the interior trims. Although the interior package went from 2480 to 2150, they charged me for my Linden Wood trim for $325...ended up saving $4 after all said and done. sneaky sneaky MB..
