Yeah, I think with the options that change the appearance, you really need to think about how it looks to you, how it makes you feel, and are you willing to pay for it.

My personal build is Polar White with the Night Package. I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, I think the black and white contrast is the best use of the night package and am not much of a fan on any other colors (except black, of course). Talk about polar opposite opinions! :-) Nautilus, I would recommend you go to the German MB website and build both options and compare. Also search AutoTrader for pics of Polar White with the night package. I'll post pics of mine but I don't take delivery until Nov 20th (fingers crossed it happens on time).

Original delivery was for early December (late October build). Was just told red leather builds are delayed to end of December, with late January delivery.

Has anyone bought winter tires as yet for their C450? I'm curious to know if you guys are using the same size tires at all 4 corners, or if it's a better idea to go with staggered, like the OEM

If by high quality then you mean forged. Carlsson has some nice looking wheels then they are about $600-800 a wheel. That is cheap in comparison to Renntech. Another member did Vossen Wheels, but I'm not sure about the price on them.

I see there is some discussion about the merits of replacing the runflats on the C450.I think runflats are only a marginal advantage over non runflats for the following reasons.
1-If you damage the wheel & tire you can't drive for help
2-If you have a rapid leak(deflate in 1 hour)and have a portable compressor in the trunk(I do)you have time to drive for help
3-If you have a slow leak(1 day or more delfation) you have plenty of time to get it repaired.
The only advantage I see is if you have a blowout and do not damage the wheel you can drive on the runflat for help.
I will give my financial reasons why runflats are not a good deal in a later post.

Naw, high quality was probably the wrong statement. I am looking for something much cheaper, say $200 or less, just for winter, there are lots of options out there, I just wondered if anyone have any suggestions in that price range

I got the 4 year prepaid on my came out to 1250. I personally wouldn't do it any other way. It's just an extra expense out of the way. You are going to spend it anyway.

I just ordered a C450 on 9/26 for delivery in Ontario and was quoted $2,075 for freight and PDI. Seems ridiculously high given the car is coming from Alabama, not Germany.

Did it ruin your tire or was it a slow leak?Were you able to drive to get it repaired or did you need MB assistance?The reason I am asking is to see if the runflats were of any help or if you would have been in the same situation even if you had non runflats.

osubeaver, I'm struggling with this switch right now. Can you compare the two cars a bit more for us? Did you have the optional sport diff on your S4? Fwiw, the B9 S4 looks awfully nice. Too bad that Audi has dropped the S4's MT and that its market intro is still a year away.

They gave me a 4% discount (~$2,700). I think I'll be able to get a few freebies thrown in or at cost when I pick up the car - winter mats, trunk liner, etc. Plus I'm eligible for a $750 professional association rebate from head office. Every little bit helps. Probably could have gotten a little bit more, but the dealership is very reasonable and easy to deal with. Not a big haggler...

Can anyone confirm if the 18 inch rims from the C400 will fit the C450? I'm looking at picking up a set for my winter wheels, and I think the slightly bigger brakes on the C450 wouldn't make a difference, but just checking
