I had the badges from the fenders removed before I picked up the car. I considered placing one of them on the door covering the cupholders. It looks from here like the same badge and I could still put one there, but have decided not to.
Could you please post a pic of the badge? The AMG badge that come on the C450 sides of the door are different from the upholder door badge we see on C63.
All, do you know with which option we can have the black carbon like spoiler on the rear of the car like in below video 1'50"?
I tried the black sport pack but it doesn't change the spoiler on the MB website configurator.

At first I wanted to go with the white/black Designo interior. Then I imagined what it's going to turn into after my kids, 5 and 7, ride in the car; especially in winter! I decided to go with black leather without the red stitching because I think it's classy; I prefer the already very sporty exterior, I prefer the interior to be more luxury than sporty hence the no red stitching.
The trim was an easier decision. Leaning more toward luxury, carbon fiber trims weren't even considered. I also don't like fingerprints on the trim. With all glossy surfaces, I think fingerprints will be inevitable. I chose the ash wood.
As the result my configuration is Polar White exterior and jet black interior.

I also have two kids ages 5 & 7. Both of which are taught to step over the humps when getting in the car. Meaning no feet on the paint or where the Merc words are, also no step in the middle floor hump. Each seat also has a kick mat found on amazon for 15 bucks so the seats don't get shoe marks. No eating allowed in my car and certainly no sticky hands before getting in. I have baby wipes in the middle compartment. Both my C450 and E55 are treated the same way and are spotless. Perhaps I'm a little OCD though, but the kids told me they love a clean car.

Congrats. I have not heard of any unhappy C450 owners. Just the C400 owners that are pissed they did not wait an additional year.
Yes and they are all trying to tell us that there is very little difference between them.If you didn't want the more HP & torque,better brakes,upgraded suspension,more agressive transmission program,and many styling upgrades,then there is very little diff between the 400C & the 450C.

I drove the C400, there is a dramatic difference in personality to me in regards to how the C450 growls and purrs; it begs for excitement. If anything, a major factor is that the C400/300 was the first product which always means things need to be worked out.

The AMG exhaust as well! That's one of my favourite feature
I'll be getting my car on Monday, the wait is killing me! It's going to be a long weekend, let's hope the Sunday football games are great, so I don't think too much about it.
Question for you lucky guys that have had your cars for a while now. A fantastic car it is, but is there anything you would change if you could? To move it from great to perfect? 9 speed transmission and inline 6 would be my changes.
Here's my C450 in all it's glory. In regards to aesthetics and fun, the car is beyond expectation for me. The quality of the interior materials are amazing. So far I have ~500 miles on it. The car is truly a perfect mix of sport, elegance, youth and fun with some crazy personality growls. For those that are wondering, the car fits two full size booster seats just fine in the back seats with lots of leg room and in the trunk I can fit 1 full boosters, 1 car seat and two partial boosters all at the same time. No I'm not carry the kiddies in the trunk!

I use mbrace from my phone quite a bit to start the car. Even though the weather is not too hot or cold, I turn it on remotely 5-10 minutes before getting to the parking lot at work. This way the engine is warmed up and it's temp is 80 degrees. You can also see the red lights on the speedometer which means distronic has been set, I use it quite a bit. I'm loving it!

Have you ever remote started your car and watched the front lights calibrate? It's crazy watching them move around.

I haven't watched the lights while remotely starting but certainly while in the car and it's amazing. It's also amazing how you can see the beams split apart during turns and come back when the car is going straight. I was surprised on a dark road that the car turned on its brights and as soon as another car turned towards me about 300-400 feet away the lights immediately went to low beam.
Also, if you notice when following, the lights are always shinning at the wheels of the car in front. The light adjusts to target the same spot whether the distance is short or long.

Congrats!!! Pics pics pics!! Driving the 450 is fun in nyc in that you can roar down the canyons. But trying to stay within the 25mph limit is hard to do as well as driving like a drunk maniac as you try to avoid the plethora of potholes.

It's the AMG carbon fiber rear spoiler and mirrors option for $1,950. Way cheaper to buy those off eBay and install yourself.

Thanks but this is not the badge I'm looking for. The badge of C63 cup holder trim is all metallic and different as I shown in my previous pic. I'll find it in eBay as well further on

Maybe I will keep the M3 for funmoments but I need a more familyfriendly car and preferably AWD, so stumbled on this MB C450 AMG sport 4matic, to me it seems like an all in package , sporty/luxury and spacious/great looks/good performance/fun/emotion, I for one was sold when i saw the interior ! Beautiful !

It took me 6 moths too to find a replacement of my A5 V6 and I compared in details XES, Macan S, 340i M Sport, S4 etc...
I think we both made the right choice, may be next move would be XE RS with some more feedback on this new car.
I have question : did you order from MB Belgium? I cannot find the optional carbon spoiler in MB France so I would like to check.
