Cajun I had a look to your website and found it great, nice design very clean.
However I have a doubt on some of your answers and this is only based on what I learned in C450:
The AMG steering wheel for C450 comes ALWAYS with black stitching and black 12 o clock. Only C63 can have an optional red AMG Wheel.
The driving mode after turning off the engine is memorized as default mode for 4 hours after which it switches back to comfort or Eco.

Other then support fot the MB "Companion" app, does anyone know what items were added to 2016 cars built AFTER October 1, 2015?
I was trying to get the "Companion" AppleWatch app to sync up to the Command system. I wasn't finding anything, so called MB. On the call with customer service, I was told this was ONLY supported on cars built AFTER October 1, 2015. I was also told that this was NOT a feature that could be retrofitted. Based on that, I'm assuming the hardware must have changed, as if it was only software it should be upgradable.
I'm taking it into my dealership tomorrow to see if they can update the software, but figured I'd see what else is missing since my build day was 7 days BEFORE October 1st.

So I was able to dyno my car after installing the Vivid Racing Bypass full review can be found on the community website here . Let me know what you think and if you have any questions that were not in the review
Also was that a awd dyno? I know dyno dynamics reads low because I've used one on my BMW prior, but 264whp seems kind of low baseline; that would imply a 28% drive train loss based on the 363hp to crank.
Nonetheless the difference of 40whp is the delta which should be noted

Also I would go without the night package as u asked, it shows prettier without IMO.

Thank you for doing this Cajun. I wonder what the general rule is for dyno comparisons between dynodynamics and dynojets are. With that being said, I think the DD read much lower from what I have gathered so the 40whp gain should be quite substantial!
Keep doing the testing man, you are taking big steps for the community!

But don't you think 28% drivetrain loss is a little steep? Maybe their dyno error calculations were not set up right

Ok what gear was the run done in ? Drive s+ or manual mode (some gear) s+? Reason why i ask was because on my BMW I never did it in full auto; it was done on some gear selector and operator made sure the pedal went down past the kickdown spot.

This was done in 4th gear in sport plus with manual mode enabled in order to stick the gear.
It was pressed passed the kickdown spot.
Note: if you do not have it in manual mode and press pass the kickdown it will in fact drop gears and cause the car to "jump" on the dyno. So if you do it make a run make sure your in manual.
I know their dyno reads kind of low i was more concerned with the delta.
Looking at getting a renntech ecu flash next and removing the piggy back and will update the contributors to the site when the brabus tune is available so one of them can take that flash and test.

Figured at 13.5% correction, that would put us at 300 whp and 313 wtq (stock) which is what I expected and makes sense...in regards to the tune, ~343whp and 365wtq (using same correction)... Cajun you are the man, and considering that showed roughly 40whp gain, we are at 45 whp gain.... and perhaps similar torque gains?
Nice work Cajun, the community will have to get some full fledged ECU flash and numbers and help you out! These piggybacks are pretty cheeky....
Hoping the Oldman&C can share his input on the data : )

So the green is stock whp and the other color is tuned whp? Do you have any data with the rwtq or any AFR?

Anything on the right Y axis is going to be represented with the line with the dots on it. That line with the dots is going to be the wheel torque hp.

It would APPEAR that the problem is the surround view stuff, cameras or other. When I resubmitted my request for the car, without the PACKAGE but WITH Park Assist and with the rear view camera, it said parts were available and build could progress in December.
So, I'm not really sure what the real difference would be with Parktonic with Active Parking Assist, with a rear camera AND WITHOUT the Surround View?System.?
Seems there would be proximity sensors and the parking assist feature, just not the little picture that shows the 3d image of the car and the surroundings?
Would that be all?
Does anyone have the parktronic with active parking assist but WITHOUT the surround view? how does that function?

Now I have to find a way to wait 6 weeks. It's really hard.
No one here has a user manual of the C450 so that we can spend useful time learning about the car ?

Just to update here about anyone ordering who has the parking package and being told that "parts" won't be available till January earliest.

I use a GT2 timer for my acceleration runs which also measures HP.You have to enter ,the weight(with driver),drivetrain loss, rolling resistance,CDA(drag).I used 15 % for the drivetrain loss for AWD,but latest data on the newer AWD systems from MB & BMW say it is more like 10 to 15%.I made 2 accel runs and the HP figures at the crank showed 363 & 368.If I reduce these figures by 12.5%(midway between 10 & 15 driveline loss)I get 319 WHP.I think these figures are a good representative of actual HP in a unmodified 450C.I know these are mathematical calculations, but because there is so big a variation in diff dyno's,unless you install a tune you don't have a good idea of actual HP.
In practice these math figures prove to be very accurate.

Yes, I've used it as well in a CLS and E..that said, I think I'm going to move forward WITHOUT the surround view, just to be able to get the car a couple months earlier. Who knows, maybe the parts will show up in the interim, but it seems that all the Parktronic Active Parking and the rear view camera parking assist work fine without the Surround View.
As do all the proximity sensors I believe - that is key. And I think clearly an element included in the Parktronic - at least as far as the manual indicates.
anyone have any other info?
