Hey guys just ordered this yesterday.

The dealer says we are looking at a late February delivery....

I had a few questions regarding the heads up display. What does it display other then speed if you didn't get nav. All of the imagines I can find for it show speed and nav directions.

2016 C450 (on order)
I can't seem to find a single vendor that can offer 19" wheels (non-OEM) that fit the C450 with the unique offset requirements particularly for the front wheels. Anyone find anything? Please share.

Multiple bluetooth devices

I have a question on phone pairing. My wife drove my car and pair her phone, now whenever we are together, and both of our phones in the car, it defaults to her phone. Yes, I know how to manually switch, but is there a way to have my phone as default? Meaning it only automatically connects to her phone if my phone is not in the car? Every vehicles we've owned, including her current Ford Edge SUV and my last BMW 335i, I set my phone as favourite, because when we are together, I'm usually driving. I find it weird that Mercedes doesn't have that convenient feature, or, am i missing something? HELP!

2016 C450
So just picked up my C450 and for those who think there isn't much of a difference. To me the difference feels huge, especially when it comes to brut force! (As my name suggests, I had a C400) However the ride is a little worse as expected. Need to rev high up the range to enjoy the car and the exhaust notes IMO. Hopefully there is a after market solution where the sound can be enjoyed at lower rpm's else I see a lot of speeding tickets in my future lol.
I never enjoyed driving in Sports+ in the C400, purely because it sounded like crap at high rpm's, problem solved! Now it's on S+ always

Much is the same appearance wise, except for the wheels I got, the new 19inch wheels are exclusive to the C450, so for those in the know, can be spotted a mile away I guess.

First day and already 300 miles in, I was told I didn't have to break it in, might take flack for this. But I obliged lol.

Missing the ventilated seats though, optioned the same as before but it was missing.

Managed to get a 9% discount in NJ, mind you this was one of the lot. Happened to get lucky I guess.

Side now, I got extremely lucky I guess, my situation meant I only lost around 7/8k for the first year of the C400 and that's after 30k miles...

IMO the C450 is meant for people who would like to have some sporty DNA in their car while they can smoothly do a family ride. For pure brute force and corresponding exhaust sound there is the AMG model.
Careful to not push too much your car if new as it has the breaking period first.
Also by experience the sound needs some time to become more expressive. I've already installed super sprints and akrapovic on previous Audis and the sound became great after some 2000 miles...

Not sure if there is a different way but two things:

1. When the same thing happened, I turned off my blackberry, the car paired with my apple. Now, each time I get in, it pairs with the last phone, my apple, even when I have both phones. It does not appear that the order of phones matters as I paired my Blackberry first.

2. If this does not work, delete the phones and re-pair them.

Again, mine wants to pair to the last phone that was connected.

I tried a few scenarios, it seems the car will pair with the last phone connected. It just annoys me that I have to manually connect my phone after my wife drives my car. As I said, with my other vehicles, I can designate a phone as favourite, and the car will search for that phone first on startup. Very convenient

With previous generation command I found that the order would create a priority when both phones showed up at the same time. My wife's was always listed first in the last and would pair first, or primary when we both came to the car. So you're saying it doesn't work that way now?

Each restart, it pairs to the last phone that was connected

Ran my car In the quarter mile today. Ran a 13.038 at 109 mph with the vivid tune on it. Will have a blog post about it up tomorrow on the website. With all the details. Driving home at the moment.

The official manual that came with the car specifically tells you there is a break-in period of 1500kms. I would follow it just to be safe but the other end of the spectrum is drive it like you stole it. Just my 0.02

No, I have been pre-working a deal on it, but my dealer still has no news on the coupe. It will be a little different styling cues than the C300 from what I hear.

So, I'm not really sure what the real difference would be with Parktonic with Active Parking Assist, with a rear camera AND WITHOUT the Surround View?System.?

Seems there would be proximity sensors and the parking assist feature, just not the little picture that shows the 3d image of the car and the surroundings?

Would that be all?

Does anyone have the parktronic with active parking assist but WITHOUT the surround view? how does that function?

Just another update for anyone ordering with the Park Assist PACKAGE..

I was able to get my order entered early last week by removing the PACKAGE And adding in the park assist and the rear view camera. So, it seems clear that either the package or some of the additional cameras needed to produce the surround view are the hold up

I didn't want to wait a couple extra months just for the surround view, and was able to get an early december allocation and build now with everything we wanted NET of the surround view piece. Previously, it was a late January allocation at the earliest that the system would allow.

Now, things could come in to availability earlier, but it wasn't THAT important to me for just that one piece. I don't really like having to pay a little more to get a little LESS functionality, but I worked it out with the dealer and hopefully, by 1st week of Jan we should have our car!

The Infamous C450
I have a second decade December build that I'm so close to cancelling and taking an already spec' car off the lot. I found one almost identical to my build except it will be Iridium instead of Palladium and it'll have Cranberry red instead of Designo brown.
I'm so ready to get into a C450 and this is very tempting. Somebody tell me to get it or wait.

I would wait, there is a thing called buyers remorse, and it's not a good feeling. My last few cars are all orders, because if I'm paying that kind of money for a car, and plan on keeping it for a few years, I want the car built exactly how I like it.
