So. Did anyone else know that the little shelf thing behind the cup holders flips up and has a little storage area under it? Good for change or something I suppose.

Did you know the ashtray comes out? if you don't smoke in your car (and don't let anyone else stink up your pride and joy either), you can gain a little more space. Many cars have this feature, but in the C-Class, the glove compartment is not well-shaped. Small objects drift to the bottom, from where it is awkward to retrieve them. So the additional center console space is a much more convenient place for small items like tire pressure gauges.
Did you know that when you put your w205 into reverse the headlamp shoots a bright beam off to the curb to light up where the nose of your car will swing in.
On RHD vehicles this activates the left side lighting, and presumably LHD will light up the right side.

A nice and well thought feature.
BMW's have been doing that since '08, I wonder how new of a feature that is on MB's

I'd rather it adjust the passenger side mirror, like my older MBs did.

Wouldn't that depend on which headlamp option you purchased? How would the partial LED option change its directions? Or are you saying the right side only goes into high beam mode?
Does anyone know if the 'reverse' backup camera can be used when not in reverse? I tow a trailer sometimes and it would be nice to check it from the camera level. Thanks all!

I would LOVE that feature as well, but unfortunately I don't think it's possible unless you have the 360 cam.

You must be in reverse but it does have a setting for a trailer. Check the manual.
Lol I love the little "hug" my Benz gives me when I get in- it doesn't seem that strong to me..
Me too! I love that feature! It's like the Benz misses you and gives you a hug every time you get in Makes you feel welcome! haha

Yep it is but I keep my spare change in there, for parking and stuff. Their isn't a dedicated coin-tray in the W205 right?

THIS bugs the crap outta me! I usually put the car in park, engine shuts off, unbuckle seat belt, engine comes back on and then shut off my car.
I guess the only way around this is to shut off the car first and then unbuckle your seat belt.
1) You can adjust the volume of the Nav/Linguatronic woman (independent of the ICE) with the steering wheel volume buttons. You have to adjust the volume whilst she's speaking.
2). (I'm sure everyone knows this but just in case)... As with most German cars, you can get three 'pips' of the indicator by just pressing the stalk down lightly and releasing. Useful for overtaking.
3. The fuel gauge has an arrow to remind you which side to fill up (useful if you drive multiple cars).
On the first car I test drove I could not get the brake hold feature to work either. The salesman kept telling me to pump the brakes which I did, but nothing. Maybe it's not a standard option?? It works great on the one I decided to buy.
It's definitely standard, Sometime's it hit or miss on my moms ML350, mostly on inclines or if you already have the pedal depressed firmly. If you pump or just hit it hard it wont work, has to be gradual but firm
BMW e89 Z4 sDrive 35i & MB S205 C200 AMG Premium Plus
It's not about depressing the pedal heavily it's about the speed of depression. With brakes applied, jab the brake pedal a further inch or so rapidly to put hold on.
