Change rear axle fluid at 1850 miles?

I just saw this in my owner's manual / maintenance log for my new C400. So, is everyone doing their rear axle fluid? I'm at 1k miles right now.

Pretty sure that is only for the C63.

From the manual :

Only for AMG vehicles with self-locking rear axle differential (Code 471) or AMG Performance Package (Code P30)

Yes 4matic. Maybe it was under the AMG section. Not near my car right now to check.

I noticed this in my maintenance manual also. Seems a little extreme.
How often has you guys done this, or had it done? Thanks

You don't have an AMG car, nothing for you to worry about.
