Thank you all for the updates. I just checked in with the dealer today and my vehicle is currently in production. All they could tell me was they expect the C450 to arrive at their dealership in late September. It may be earlier but the best guess is late September. So much for the early September delivery.

Just got a call from my dealer. Base price in Canada is official $55,900 + freight&PDI... $4,500 increase in Canada... A bit more than I was hoping...

I have asked for pricing on the different option packages - nothing heard back yet.

$55,900 USD, YIKES! ... The freight cannot be that much more from Tuscaloosa. I wonder why M-B is gouging are Northern neighbors.

I think we all have unofficial pricing. Hopefully it is no more than $50,800 that is reflected on our production orders.

It could be because the Canada dollar is worth about $.75 to the US dollar.

Definitely $55,900 CAD... Vehicles in Canada are priced in Canadian Dollars .

It is in fact cheaper to buy the vehicle in Canada given the continued weakness in the CAD over the last 6-8 months. Also, the Canadian base vehicle has more standard features than the US C450, I believe.

Yeah, it looks like at least the pana roof and heated seats are standard for Canada:

Why? Having had the Pano roof on my 2012 E350 Coupe now for 4 years, I wouldn't be without one.

Confirmed. $55,900 Canadian Dollars. Considering that there's more standard equipment on the Canadian models, it means we here up north are getting a fantastic deal. No complaints

So you pay about $42,000 for what someone in the US would pay about $54,000 for? Interesting.

most companies don't adjust for market pricing unless there is a clear long term substantial move in currency that is expected to maintain itself. They want to maintain IN MARKET retail pricing at all costs..which they are.

After waiting since May, my Canadian 2016 C300 is here.

Base list price increased by $800 to $43,800 (yes, $CDN). No change to any of the options I ordered from 2015 prices.

Looks like I pick it up on Monday.

Congrats on the 2016 C300! it looks like the 1.8% increase in base price for the C Class follows the rest of the MB line for 2016.

I have to go over there this afternoon (so they can "try" to sell all of the extras to me). I'll snap a pic if I can.

I would get the wheel and tire package. These come with Run Flats and they're expensive. The insurance is worth it, IMHO. I also usually pre-pay for service so you don't get caught by service increases along the way. If you're going to keep the car past the new car warranty, an extended warranty isn't a bad investment. That's about all I'll be going for when I get mine in October.

Looking forward to pics!

Guys, this has probably been answered before, but I'm curious about the visual differences between the C400 and C450...

I notice the following :

Black window trim
Diamond grill
Exhaust finishers
Diffuser
Lip spoiler
Black mirrors
AMG badges

Is there anything else? Are the bumpers front and rear identical to the C400 and C300 with AMG appearance package?

I have not seen a C450 in person yet. I see a lot of C300's and the occasional C400 and find them a bit bland, not aggressive looking enough for my tastes so I'm curious if there are subtle differences with the C450 that I haven't noticed from pics...

You're saying that the intake vents in the lower front fascia are bigger on C450 than on C400? Look VERY similar to me... I guess I haven't really looked at them side to side...

I wonder about this too... I don't want my kidneys to hurt for dailing driving... Roads in Atlantic Canada are brutal after frost has its way with them...

The magnetic AMG suspension is pretty stiff in my brother-in-laws 2012 CLS63... I'm assuming it's the same technology in the C450?

The C450 has the adaptive dampers and front suspension from the W205 C63, so I would imagine they would ride pretty similarly. No idea how that compares to the CLS63 though. The press preview drives in Portugal many months ago pegged the C450's ride as firm (but not harsh) even in the Comfort setting.

My post above ended up in the wrong thread. This keeps happening to me on this site... I think I'm posting in one thread and it actually posts to another... Seems like when I log in using Facebook, it directs me to comment on a different thread than I intended to... Sorry guys!
