Starting to grow on me, TBF.
Still not sure about practicality of the back seats, though. Looking at the roof slope, plus pano roof, I reckon it'll be for 10 year olds only.

It's nice looking. Make it a C450 AMG Coupe and I'll consider one when my lease is up :-p

yes. apparently the boot and backseat space is less than previous gen. in order to get the looks they wanted they had make sacrifice on practicality of it.

Can anyone tell if it's going to be pillarless or not? Can't tell here but it looks like it's not at first couple glances?

I am pretty sure it is pillar less, looking at the photos - looking at the one that is side on, with the window down, I cannot see any sing of a window frame below the chrome strip and the chrome strip isn't split.

You cannot be 100%, but that's the way it looks to me.

So excited for this. Hope it is not too much more expensive than the saloon as it is near top end of my budget!

P.s. from other articles I was under the impression it is NOT pillar less due to cost concerns. However I am open to be corrected.

Pillarless for me would make me give it serious consideration and I would pay a premium for it. I don't know how to explain it, but it really makes a coupe special when there is no pillar. It gives you the feeling of being in a semi-convertible and awesome visibility, and it looks so elegant. It would really suit such a great looking car. Regardless, it will be work a hard look and test drive at the dealership. I was scared to see what they would do to the back but they're keeping true to imitating the S-coupe which is smart.

we have to add that to the wish list together with pillarless design. nevertheless I think it would look stunning when fully revealed in 22 days. we already know that interior is the same as W205 which is not a bad thing in itself but with more sporty seats to go with the car character

Wouldn't want to be BMW right now, this thing looks better than a 6 series and will likely be priced similar to a 4 series.

yes But I have to say that 4 series in right Spec is a very handsome car. specially that 4GC but like the post above mentioned BMW need to move on with their interior design now.

if you don't need the practicality of a sedan then this baby might be just what you need. could be the best looking Merc on sale when released

It's a good looking car. But anyone else see a similarity to that of the Honda Accord?

I can see what you mean.. But to me the MB Coupe is more sleek. The low roofline and narrow side window frame sets it apart.

It's like when people say a Chrysler 300 looks like a Phantom RollsRoyce... But that's until a Phantom pulls up next to it at the street light.

Same here I wouldn't even notice if a Honda was next to me, but this new coupe I'm sure people will be turning heads when it's on the streets.. Especially with some better wheels

The 2016 Accord Coupe shown above is a "Concept" vehicle; the actual production car is better styled, without the fussy-looking front and rear corner elements (see photos @ http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...-accord-photos). Also, the standard 19" alloys that come with the V6 Touring are much better looking than the ones seen in the above photo. And yes, there is some styling similarity to the upcoming C Class Coupe. However, when it comes to comparing MSRPs, the new C450 Coupe will likely be at least $20-25K more than the 2016 Accord V6 Touring Coupe.

I was hoping for a pillarless design but it's pretty as hell. There are rumours that Benz intends reviving the CLK nomenclature so maybe a pillarless design is in the wings.
