Odd that in the US the Build Your Own still lists the 2015 models (i.e., C400), even though you can't get a 2015 built at this point. I wonder when they change things over to the new model year?

Apparently, either model may or may not have the AMG badge (but I would think that your odds are better with the performance wheel).

Thanks. Its not that I care about the AMG badging (I prefer its not on the wheel to remind me what I purchased everyday I drive the car - that's the gas pedal's job!), but that with the ARTICO/DINAMICA interior, I think the DINAMICA on the AMG Sport wheel will better match the interior. My question is that I have seen many variations of this wheel and I want to be sure of what it looks like before I order. My concern is that with the red stitching in that trim, will this wheel have that small section at 12:00 be in red (as I have seen some pictures with that red stripe)?

I was told that you will only get the red stripe if you get the performance wheel with the "default" interior (641 – Black MB-Tex/DINAMICA w/Red Stitching & Red Seat Belts).

I bought from David Morris. Bryan Kim was a great salesman!
I was lucky in that they had a few already targeted for the dealership. I have the following:
- Premium Package
- Intelligent Drive
- Black Obsidian paint
- Cranberry Red AMG leather
- Dark Ash trim
- Adaptive Highbeam
- Active LED
That was what I wanted and they had it on their list. It has the stock 18" AMG wheels and I may swap them out in time but it is how I would have build from factory. The other options like heads up display and carbon mirrors were of no interest.

The build in front of mine (which is complete and in route to the dealer, probably via Baltimore like the others) is almost identical, right down to the 18" wheels. I think the only difference is the 739 Black Piano & Aluminum Trim.
When it gets to the dealer, I'll try to snap a couple pics before it gets delivered, and post them for you.

What kind of discounts are you getting in Edmonton?
There is a problem with my C400 right before taking delivery. We are thinking of whether to back out. If you are getting good discounts. We might just reject the order. Thanks.

I cannot say what my specific discount was as there was a trade and previous finance payouts.
What I can suggest is that the 2015's are on the way out and there is motivation for a dealer and MB to move those cars. As the 2016 are not even on the lot, the dealer has no money tied up in the vehicle and MB is not offering the dealer any published incentives.
Based on what I have seen and was told by dealers in other cities, you can expect to see dealers selling at MSRP or perhaps a bit below. Not that dealerships are taking advantage, it is just between model year change overs.

Sorry I cannot give you a % to help you so you will need to call around. I was exceptionally happy with my experience at David Morris and with Bryan Kim. Buying is a big investment and it helps when the dealer does not pressure you during the discussions.

Finally went in to the dealer today. I asked if they have any C450s on order and amazingly, they had nothing but C300s ordered. I'm guessing they didn't want to order any C450s as they still have a number of unsold C400s on the lot. He took a look at what everyone else in Ontario had on order and they were all October builds. He said that the factory was pushing out US orders first and would start Canada production in October. So we put in a new order for my C450 and the first build date was set for November! I am not sure I want to wait that long so I may end up having him grab a C450 from another dealer. My lease is up at the start of December - so much for the lease pull ahead
