Do you tall pals fit in W205 with pana roof?

I am 6'5 (195cm) tall, almost 200 pounds.
I did go and test drive the car with pano roof. I had to adjust the seat to the lowest position and still my hair were brushing the roof sliding bar sometimes. There was no car with no pano roof on the lot, so haven't got a chance to sit in one.

I know I can just not get the pano roof.
The thing is, I am in Canada, and COMMAND, rear camera, and pano roof are in one package that costs $3,700. I kinda want COMMAND and Rear camera, so dilemma! dilemma!

Also, does anyone know if Audio 20 has Garmin Pilot unit in Canada?

Thanks everyone!

So far I have no plan to cut my height.

And can't afford S class, no interest in crossover.

My question was, should I give up the COMMAND and pano roof to make myself fit.

I'm 197cm and strangely I did have problems on the demo car I had way back in March but no problems at all on the MY16 model I actually received last month. Both had pano roof so bit of a mystery why it would be different (no I haven't shrunk in the last 6 months!)

This is scary. I really never test drove the C class but have one on order... I am 1.97 cm. Should I be worried?

6'3" and 215 pounds here and plenty of head and leg room up front with the pano roof. There's more head room without it, but it's not an issue with me. If you routinely have tall passengers in the back, head room is very tight with the pano roof.

I'm 6'2" but with a long back. I need the seat as low as it will go and the back rest reclined just a little more than I need to avoid touching the pano-roof. But to make it worse, the steering wheel doesn't come out far enough or go high enough either.

Couple this with the fact that in the righthand drive the steering wheel is off-centre to the seat, and the left footrest is at a weird height, and it makes the car an ergonomic nightmare.

Can't wait till the lease is up and I can get shot of it. Lousy car.

Absolutely but there is a great difference between thirty minutes in a unfamiliar car that you really want to like, and 20k miles of motorways spending four hours at a time driving.

The car is badly designed. End of story. I've had a lot of cars off all sizes and thus is the only one I've had problems with.

Dont blame the car for your bad decisions,
I agree that 30 mins is too little to get a feel for a new car, but considering the amount of cash involved I do not understand how pople would accept only half an hour before purchase?

We often make potential buyers use a demo for a weekend or an entire week.

Well I wouldn't say the car is badly designed, but I do believe different cars fit different body shapes.

Now that I haven't placed my order, I will spend more time in the test drive to make sure I can find a comfy position. Also I have decided to go without sunroof (if I ever get one) to have more space flexibility.

Really? I don't think one week test drive is possible here in Canada.
By the way, have you seen both 7 in screen and 8.4 in screen? Are there big difference in term of look?

In the US, a demo for that long would probably require having purchased at least a few S Class cars in the last 10 years along with lesser models from the same dealer. Then again, we do get the cars for significantly less money than any other country.

The smaller screen has a large black surround around the entire screen and I believe it is a plastic screen. The 8.4" screen is glass and doesn't have the surround. I have the Multi-Media package with the 8.4" screen and tbh, the screen was one major reason I would only get the car with Multi-Media and Comand. Of course there are many other reasons why the package is worth it, but the screen to me was/is significant.

On the test drive, I was offered a full weekend with one if I wanted it. I knew it was the car for me the moment I drove it, so I didn't take them up on the offer. But I am well known at this dealership as I've purchased a number of cars from them.
