Hello.
I am just about to sign my new deal on a 450 amg and i was wondering about the lighted door handles.

I have seen 2 videos on youtube that displays lighted door handles.
Does anyone know the specific thing you need to add to get that or is it standard on all builds? I would really like that on my car.

My dealer has no clue and i asked a few other dealers but no one seems to know.

If you ask this question of your sales person and no one in the building can answer you, why would you even consider buying a vehicle from them?? walk out.

they are standard, 3 of mine burnt out and i had them all replaced, required them taking the whole door apart and they broke my door locks and now my driver one is out AGAIN.

Well what can i say, maybe the staff at Mercedes in sweden just dont know?

I heard someone say it might be part of the keyless go package but i honestly do not know.

Worse comes to worse if no one in your market can tell you which option it is you could try a few different vehicles in the dealer's lot and see which ones have LED door lights. Use the power of deduction to figure out which cars share the same features like keyless go or lighting/night package.... or get the car fully loaded lol

In Europe, only cars with keyless go have the lighted door handles (the ones that have chrome parts). Mine is with keyless and my neighbour has a normal one with no lights.

I asked the same question a month or 2 ago, I have a clueless dealership where i'm from and sadly only one dealership has Mercedes automobiles (not sure if it's considered a dealership or a partner). However the salesguy suspected it comes with interior lighting (illuminated door sills and lights under the side mirrors as he says) but it didn't make sense to me.

Then someone here answered that it comes with keyless go so I called the dealership and added the keyless go to my order (for some reason I didn't want it but changed my mind once I figured that it might include illuminated door handles).

I wish I could confirm but sadly my car will arrive march.
