AMG-Sport is dead. C450 will now be AMG C43
Exhaust on the C450 sounds great as is - love the crackles (or "gunshots") when you hit the 4, 5, 6 on the RPM scale. Guess I just missed out on this new performance exhaust of the C43… ahhh!
The opinions on in seem a bit 50/50. I, personally, wouldn't order it.
I will rebadge IF AND ONLY IF the exteriors are completely the same between them. Don't see a prob doing this if the hp, torque, exterior, etc are the same. Definitely will NOT be going out of my way to rebadge/match the C43 (should there be any exterior differences) just to "enhance" this warm-up of a car. For me, the purpose of the C450 is just to get my feet wet. I have a good idea as to what my next vehicle will be.
Although they're both fun to drive (C43, C450), and definitely above your average car, they're not real AMG's. The letters AMG should be attainable by only a select few individuals.
It's only a matter of time before it's time to return this car and hop into something else, so enjoy whatever it is that you're driving and don't stress about badging lol. C450, C43, heck I'm still driving it and enjoying it!

I guess C43 is REAL AMG minus just the half-AMG engine. It looks like this "REAL AMG" is closer than your "fully loaded" car. Just my 2c.
My kids are 24 & 26, both about 5'10" & they fitted comfortably in the back seats of the coupe.
Surprisingly, there appears to be more room in the front seats of the coupe than the sedan & the doors are massive.
If you don't have more than 2 kids, then you might consider going for a test drive in a coupe to see if it fits your family.

not even remotely relevant to the conversation. Nowhere was it said that the two sounded the same.
im sure the C43 is worth the wait. Me personally, if I could do it all over again I would have opted for the E43. I realized the C is a little small for my liking but im stuck with my purchase. Cant wait to pass it down to my sister when she starts driving in 10yrs

Being able to get the Coupe body style rather than the sedan is just icing on the cake! Being that I am very recently single now, my worry of fitting kids in over the next few years is now null and void (pending any drunken mistakes on my part, of course), so the Coupe will be perfect for me

Either way, not the end of the world. Would definitely lease it though..
And should have c43 VIN... if that matters to you.
