AMG-Sport is dead. C450 will now be AMG C43
You can hide stuff like this when you're just playing house with a girlfriend. Once you're married you need to learn how to man up and take your whippin' when you do dumb stuff.
You don't want to tell her because she will rightly tell you that your plan is dumb and that you should keep the car you got.
I still don't understand why you don't just have some fun modding your car.
Absolute best case scenario for your plan:
The dealer offers you a "special" discount on a new C43 because he loves the taste of fresh pigeon. Expect 8% off of MSRP.
The dealer offers you a trade in value of $45-47K according to KBB for a red C450 with: 19s, premium 1, Burmester, LEDs, no DAP and no Nav with 6,000mi.
Your delta is will be $17-19k depending on the final price of the new C43 and whether or not they lube you before bending you over.
I believe this will be best case scenario for you.
Worst case scenario:
5% discount
They lowball the trade because "it's the end of life for this model and we'll have to lose money to sell it, blah blah...." $42k trade offer
Your delta becomes $24-25k. Which is equivalent to the price of a well equipped new Subaru Forester or the down payment on a modest single family home.

By the way I'm trading it in because I want Comand and HUD and driver assistance pack that I didn't get on my c450.. Plus the 9g transmission and exhaust..
$20 grand is a lot to lose on a vehicle that looks the same. Have you considered throwing all that money into your current car? You can do quite a build out for that bread. You could probably make it a Brabus tune for that money. You could swap your scuffed seats with a set of AMG performance seats, add some body mods, wheels, suspension, and every go fast goodie currently available.
You are talking about losing, in one year, my lease payments 3 years. You could lease yourself a Fiat 124 Abarth if you want something that sounds good... and keep your new Mercedes.
PS. As far as the pool is concerned. I just had 2 quotes for a 10'*18' fiberglass in ground pool. The number was nearly $40k. My pool got back burnered thanks to my new Mercedes. Your wife is going to drive your car into the water.
That's got me thinking.
Have you considered leaving your car running after parking in a ****ty neighborhood? Just make sure you wait a while before calling it in.

You'll be out

I'm serious about the whole insurance job BTW. Are you near a flood zone? I lost my last VW after 3 months from Superstorm Sandy. I ended up getting the same model, color and all, more options, next MY, lower payments.
Cars just vanish sometimes. Poof. Fires, flash floods, hail. Call up your broker, and find out how good your coverage is.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
But no. It turned out she wanted an actual swimming pool built behind our house.

Just having the c43 name and 9g isn't going to do that much canabalization.

- Selenite grey
- Cranberry red leather
- Carbon fibre trim
- 19-inch 5 twin-spoke silver/black alloy wheels
if i'm lucky itll be here by the start of november. being on the west coast sigh.
I tend to be really careful with options, I guess I feel like options generally aren't the best value and its not like these cars don't come well equipped. just got a base C43 coupe, the ash open pore wood, and the 19" 5 twin spoke wheels in white.

Oh no, your lease is due back but you're over in your milage? He can fix that. Oh no, you kept putting more milage on and need to have the car disappeared? He can fix that too. Check local rates, but over here, these services both cost $350.
Take a quick read through the forums for the thread about insurance costs. Don't cry for Flo and the Gecko. Despite what they tell you, it isn't insurance fraud that drives up rates.
