Anyone have info regarding the S205 Estate version of the C450?
Found this article about a company named VATH and they have modified an S205 with 19" wheels with 245 rubber up front. From the looks of the pictures the tires have a bit of stretch so I'm guessing 8.5. Wheels also have some decent concavity to it.
The article mentions aggressive body kit but it looks OEM to me except for the C63 rear diffuser and exhaust tips. Article also mentions upgraded braking but those callipers also look the same.
So does the S205 have a wider front fender than the sedan?
http://www.carscoops.com/2016/04/mer...ment-from.html
This whole thing blows. My reasoning for going with the 18s was so to throw a set of 19" on for summer and use the 18" for winter. If only I had knwon that 8.5s wouldn't fit.. who would have thought.. I'm probably just going to source a set of W204 multi spokes and run some spacers.

Brabus was covered by the same media outlet and their application showed the vehicle fit with the Brabus Monoblock S in 19x7.5/8.5 and it showed the engine and interior etc. so the Brabus application is real.
As far as a 3pc application, I am working with one of the wheel manufactures to test fit a 3pc application...the biggest concern on a 3pc is the Drop Center of the inner barrel may conflict with the Brake Caliper, so once we have a confirmed 8.0/9.0x19 fitment, I will share.

Hello,
So I just called H&R directly and they gave me these part numbers;
15mm spacers - 3055665
12x1.5 lug bolts 40mm - 1254001
Can anybody confirm this??

With the 15mm spacer we offer and use for the W205 we use a 45mm bolt length. Attached is a picture of a 15mm kit we shipped just last week with black anodized bolts.
Hope this info helps.

Is there any consensus on how much closer to the suspension the new wheel can sit vs OEM? Is there any room at all or the OEM standoff is the limit?

Front: 15mm 3055665
Rear: 20mm 4055665
No vibrations or anything, but they fit really snug on the wheel side.

OK. I'm going to give a bit of insight of why I keep saying things won't fit.
I got the 18" 5 spoke wheels thinking I would use them for winter and throw a set of 19s on for summer. Big mistake as we all know, nothing fits this car. If I had known that, I would have gotten the 19s, which look great anyways and be done with it.
18" wheel/tire specs:
Front: 18x7.5 ET 33 rim, 225/45/18 tire.
Back: 18x8.5 ET 49 rim, 245/40/18 tire.
So, being that I'm stuck, I had a set of 15mm H&R spacers that fit this car. I threw them on the back, perfect, the wheel was now flush.
So with the 15mm spacers in the rear, it gives me a final ET (offset) of 34.
I decided to throw it on the front and see what happens, knowing it would poke. Well it poked out about 5mm, so back on the rear they went.
I then had the car lowered on H&R springs.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
The 15mm that worked on the rear before was now 5mm from being flush with the fender. So I put the 15mm on the front and bam, it was flush with the fender giving me a final ET of 18 in the front. So I ordered 20mm spacers for the rear, giving me a final ET of 29.
Before I lowered my car, I stuck my fingers in her and felt around. I could only fit one finger between the wheel and the suspension. Let's say that is about 5mm. I wish I could get both fingers maybe even 3 fingers in her, but she's TIIIGHT.![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
So anyways, plug this information into this website: Willtheyfit.com
Front: 225/45/18 18x7.5 ET18
Rear: 245/40/18 18x8.5 ET29
That will give you flush with fender without poking for front and rear with the OEM tires, on a lowered car. Figure it will poke about 5mm for non lowered cars.
Now plug in whatever wheel you want, and see how it fits. We can also roughly assume that we have an inner clearance of less than 20mm from where my wheel sits. Reason being, I had about 5mm before the spacer, so adding the 15mm spacer should give us roughly 20mm and NO MORE.
So for sh*ts and giggles lets plug in fstclyz desired wheels into that website.
225/35/20 20X9 ET38.
It says right off the bat that its going to be 39.1mm closer to the suspension strut. Well through my unscientific research, thats about 19mm too much. Even if I'm wrong, I don't think I could be off by more than a few mm. Hell lets say I'm off by 10mm. Still, won't fit. Unless you don't mind the wheel poking out.
Also keep in mind on a stock height car, that's already poking by about 5mm.
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if it doesn't fit. The stock tires are pretty round, so something like a Michelin PSS might end up being too wide.
Edit: Didn't bother with the rear since we don't have any issues with that.

24et. That still takes up 10mm on the inside, giving me maybe 10mm of clearance (inset). It seems like I could go up to a 27et with a 5mm clearance but man, this is getting really tight and not many people make 24-27 offsets anyway.
It would be nice to get this info using a 20" as there's talk that we gain some inset by missing the suspension.

Well nycsoil has 19x8.5 et 31 with 225/40/19 tires.
Using that website, the face of his wheel sits nearly identical to mine with spacers. And his inner wheel is 25.7mm closer. So seems like my 20mm guess is conservative and we have a new number of 25.7mm

I ordered my C450 with the 19's but want to swap them for 18" tire/rim combo for winter. I do want a wheel that has a Mercedes look to it. Currently looking at the Replika R170 (https://www.replika.ca/productinfo.a...mercedes&bp=-1)
It is 8.5 wide wheel with +32 offset. As it stands, it would be :
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 11.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 13.7mm more than before.
11.7mm closer is most likely cutting it too close, right?
So, if I get a 10mm spacer, it would land me at this:
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 1.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 23.7mm more than before.
Do you guys think that it would be acceptable up front? 10mm spacer with 8.5 inch wheel? 23.7mm is 0.93 on an inch... Is that too much?
Alternatively, would a 5mm spacer work, thus bringing me 6.7mm closer to suspension than stock??
