i think i'm gonna lay down my AMG floormats when i go take a **** @ the lounge.
how dare they expect me to step into a bathroom without my AMG floormats!
oh yeah, make sure to get an AMG keychain, i hear the ECU in the AMG cars detect all AMG officially licensed product and it gives you a hidden 5HP boost for every AMG officially licensed product you currently have with you inside the car.

Actually agree with you. Had fender badging on the S4 which I removed it it greatly increased the overall look.
But in this case I was like, "hmm, I could have lived with those" - after one side was off.
They are placed in the right spot and flow well.

The one thing that sucks about the AMG lounge is that if an owner of a more powerful, more expensive AMG car enters, owners of lesser models must perform a push-up for each increment of horsepower their car lacks.
But on the upside, C63 owners quickly develop phenomenal upper body strength. So in addition to their cars not costing very much, they also save time at the gym. So, win/win.

I was going to get a C63, but the first question on the AMG application was "Exactly how small IS your *****?". When I answered truthfully they said I was disqualified from AMG ownership because I "had nothing to compensate for", whatever the heck that was supposed to mean.
I'm guessing your app sailed right through though. Lucky s.o.b!

I had fun with you because I do research before blasting out insults. I highly doubt your dad bought you the s550.

I've gotten a kick out of this thread and some good laughs. It's the same debate that every forum has. Jeep Wrangler Sport putting Rubicon decals on the hood, Mustang GT owners putting Shelby badges on their cars, and I've even seen, in person, a Chrysler 300 with Bently badges on it (we're the badges worth more than the car?). It's sad, but people do it.

I had a wooden log that i put 4 wheels to and added a steering wheel. as the time went past i put decals on my steering wheel, all from AMG to Ferrari and so on.
My point is, if someone put a decal on his car he likes it and dreams of it, who are you to come to tell him he is wrong? its his car, its his dream, who gives a ****.

If you present a mod, any mod, to a forum you're going to get opinions pro and con. It's absurd for anyone to get upset because not all of the opinions are supportive.

(1.) Pity.
Putting an AMG badge on your car in a similar place / similar size / similar style as real AMGs inspires pity from me. Clearly anger in others. And then there are those that are indifferent ... but there probably isn't anyone who likes it and, let's face it, the OP is putting it there to advertise. That's what badges are for, so AMG.One has definitely exposed himself.
(2.) Ersatz Goods.
So the OP has essentially created a Brolex. Or a Louie Vittown. Personally I don't own any knock-offs and wouldn't buy one - I don't really understand them except theoretically. I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery though, so AMG owners, please accept AMG.one's compliments I guess.
(3.) Joey.
AMG.One is dangerously close to Joey. Maybe worse.
