Officially invited to the AMG Private Lounge
I guess it's official, every member of the AMG Sport line is now part of AMG. Got the personal welcome letter in the mail today along with a window sticker. Pretty cool.

I just got my welcome letter a couple days ago too. I can't wait to antagonize them over there when my C43 comes in.
I dont see what the big deal is tbh, I bought it because it was the right car for me and its plenty fast. Who cares what the logo says.

It is unhealthy to look forward to a sticker?
I'm looking forward to a sticker. I feel like I just got a good grade on a test in the 1st grade!

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Congrats!
being a part of the Amg private lounge/club has done absolutely nothing for me personally or professionally, but here is the best part -- I didn't expect it to.
my e63S does put a big ole grin on my face daily -- and that's worth every penny of its depreciation!
wish you good health and safe driving

I just registered as well. Maybe the reason C450's are accepted is because our VIN's come up as a C63. At least that's how mine shows up in the "My AMG" page of my AMG Lounge forum profile.

lol where is that tool on this site that kept touting the AMG lounge as the best thing since his parents gave him access to his trust fund while at the same time calling us all peasants?
I'm actually really glad they are expanding the AMG exclusivity to encompass these cars. People will likely embrace the inclusive nature of MB/AMG giving similar treatment to their entire AMG lineup.
Mike, this means putting on your AMG badges will probably give you a higher chance at sneaking into the AMG lounge. Let me know how that goes

On that note, most people with really expensive cars on their are actually quite nice. I guess short man syndrome manifests itself everywhere.

Yes register with your VIN at http://www.mercedes-amg.com/privatel...ration/welcome and your decals and hat (if you're lucky) will arrive in about a month's time from Germany

I don't know if that was sarcasm. I'm registered there and a handful of their vocal members are just poison. The irony of it all is that most of the ones complaining about the C43 not being a true AMG are primarily the ones with CLA45s or GLA45s. As if a there wasn't a huge debacle about considering a FWD biased 4-cylinder as a fake-AMG less than 3 years ago?
