ok to put AMG on c450 rear now?

of maybe not a good idea, amg cars have letter follows by 2 numbers not 3 numbers.
Also the C43, while pretty much the same car for the most part, has a different wheel torque bias and a different transmission than the C450.
The only things the C43 has over the C450 is an ever so slightly different wheel torque bias, a 9 sp transmission, and the option of a louder exhaust...that's it...same suspension, same motor on both cars. So many C450s in my area have and AMG badge in back, and my dealership even offered to slap one on as well when I purchased my car (for $75)...I declined and just ordered one on ebay and installed it myself. I like the way the trunk lid looks more balanced with a badge on each side. Technically speaking, putting an AMG badge on the right side of the trunk lid is just referring to the car as Mercedes does!

With the C450 though the car clearly has everything that matters in common with the C43. I think the C450 should have an AMG decklid badge.
It's your car, do what you want. I recall MB themselves used to put AMG on the back of some ML550s because they had the AMG package. I recall them doing it on the CLK 430s also...

But, gotta get my RennTECH tune 'fore I do the 45 badge; swap it out with your 4matic (not really; I just have a 450 on the left)......but only if they give me their blessing. Don't wanna look too ghetto-poserish.
I like changing it up personally. So I’d ride a few months clean/debadged and then maybe with the AMG badges. Who cares...as long as you’re happy.

It's your car every if AMG did not make it one man. The Sport AMG engine in the C450/C43 has Nano cylinders protection which the C300/C400 did not have. AMG update the suspension taking parts from the C63. You will on your under side of your AMG and not Mercedes stamps. The Transmission is tuned by AMG ( I found this out when Mercedes could not solve my transmission program in which AMG was involved to solve it). The C450/C43 was and is AMG entry level or AMG Sport models whereas now, AMG now starts at the 53 Level.

That said, I am pretty sure you are only talking about the W205, so there is that : )

NANOSLIDE cylinder wall technologyThe cylinder walls of the diecast aluminum block are created in a patented process that benefits performance, efficiency and durability. NANOSLIDE technology uses a twin-wire arc spray to coat the bores with an ultrahard layer that's honed to an ultralow-friction, mirror-like finish. Without the added weight of cylinder liners, the bores and lightweight forged pistons are matched with even greater dimensional precision, for more immediate and consistent power over a longer service life.

I think it would be safe to say that sometime in the futures after the original W205 and the changed Mercedes was making with all their cars around this time, they may have changed it and made it standard. Nanoslide was a feature added by AMG and for their own products but I can see how a writeup from Wiki would not state such a things even though AMG Private Lounge stated such things.
The Mercedes-Benz M276 engine, introduced in 2010, did not incorporate nanotechnology as a standard feature at its inception. While AMG did later tune and enhance the M276 engine, there's no specific information to suggest the use of nanotechnology was a standard addition by AMG.
