Is it bad that I'm addicted to the cracks and snaps the C450 makes in Sport+ mode?

I exclusively drive in Sport+ with comfort for suspension daily. And I do the snaps and crackles from every light. Any long term damage?

Drive select always on S+ and fuel tank always on E as a result. That crackle is the sound of unburnt fuel being wasted.

Just for ****s and giggles, I drove for an entire take on "comfort" & "economy" and compared my mileage.. It was lik 1-2mpg difference. Definitely not enough for me to think twice about that again. "Sport+" for life.

BTW, has anyone actually used regular "sport" before? I never have.

I've been using S and no S+, and have been comparing mpg between E, C and S. Maybe 2-3 mpg difference between S and C/E, thus not worth it to drive in C/E when I'm getting about 24-25 with S...except just to see what is the best mileage you can get around town

You notice the mileage difference the most hwy and fwy driving. My C450 will not upshift past 5th when it's in S+. Or maybe I just haven't gotten it fast enough yet Cruising at 85mph it still holds 5th gear in S+.
