C 300

Loud Noise when changing gears for C300

Hello All,

I have recently purchased 2016 c300 car with less than 16K miles and when I took my car for service and noticed after service 'loud/weird noise when changing gears' and dealers explains me its common noise that most Mercedes have. Is this how Merc brand is.

Am regretting buying merc now. Attaching a video that shows exact sound my car makes now. Please let me know if anyone found a fix for this before.

2017 mercedes C300

I have a C300 2017 and would not like that sound. I guess next time I will roll my window down and listen for the shifts but I don't think I will hear that sound.

Take it to another dealer. That doesn't sound normal

Mine doesnt make that noise.

W205 C300

Mine makes that noise and so does our GLE. I was told it's the transmission electronically selecting the gear, since you know, there's no actual lines going from a shifter.
