LED door handle light replacement

Not quite a deep blue but it's good to know that it means they could be on way out. I'll get the service centre to replace the remaining door lights then they will all match the new LED.

my dealer replaced all 4 under warranty last year, and 2 are already turning blue. Such horrible LED's they used.
Also the cheap LED can't be replaced without the complicated labour as noted above. This is really disappointing. I just hope all 4 die at the same time now and I can live without it

You only need to completely remove the window regulator if your doing a front door, the rear can be worked around. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...l-removal.html

Anyone know how to shut these off?
2 fronts were replaced about 6 months ago under warranty, now my warranty has expired.
Got 1 out in the rear and the other side is blue and on its way out.

Door handle light fixed
Out of warranty on my GLC, so I got my local independent garage to strip down my door and replace the front drivers door handle LED. They changed £58 I provided the LED which cost £18 total = £76. Mercedes dealership said it would cost around £150 for this so happy with the saving. There is no way to do this job without a full door strip down, the PDF's posted on this thread really helped thanks to benzdude

Eureka!!! So my rear doors' handle LED's are turning blue/purple which is indicative of them on their last leg(s). I called mercedes and they said they have them in stock! I thought the dealer was gonna say something crazy like $150 per, but luck is on our side (owners), only $20 for driver side and $24 for passenger. Part numbers (rear only) are 0998200183 and 0998200283! I hope this helps anyone needing this info.
