Trunk won't open with the door closed
With the door locked, the trunk normally opens without an issue.
However, now I have to unlock the door to open it.
Is there any switch I need to turn to get back to normal (trunk open without the door open)?
Thanks
Glove box. The switch is at open position
Settings of the locking system. All doors are unlocked.
Below is the picture of the trunk. There is a green light blinking in the middle. I can't find any other switch

1. Remove the start button in the ignition.
2. Insert the smartkey into the ignition. (do not turn)
3. Press and hold the lock button with one finger. (do not release the button)
4. Press unlock button five times with another finger while pressing the lock button.
5. Release the lock button.
6. Remove the smartkey and put the start button back.
7. Start the engine. The engine should start.
8. Lock the doors from the outside by touching the button on the door handle.
9. Unlock the doors by touching the handle. (repeat 8 & 9 several times)
10. Lock the doors by touching the button on the handle.
11. Open the trunk. It opens ~~~.
The trunk didn't open at the first time after reset but it did after locking/unlocking the doors several times.

I finally took the car to the dealer yesterday and they fixed it. They said it needs a software upgrade but could not explain why it worked for years.
