Brougt it to mercedes they said it has somthing to do with the fuel and filter or somthing with a pin causing the rattling and ticking.
They are still investigating before i bring it back again.

I read your post and was about to say I have the same problem, but then I listened to your video and holy ****. Mine has a couple second light rattle from a cold start, kind of like a loose heat shield underneath? Yours sounds terrible (no offense). Please let us know what the dealership says
Really out of solutions.... this only happends when the car is warm, there no way to show to mechanics cause it only happends when the car is park for another 20 mins

Cam shaft adjuster or sprocket, it's the part that goes on the can shaft and has the chain on it, common in all M276 engines, you are not alone, fix is around $2-$4K

That’s definitely doable, I’ve been looking into getting it fixed but my biggest obstacle is trying to find the parts. Ordering from MB is murder but something I’m beginning to consider. Something else I’m wondering is if it will become a recurring issue. Once it’s fixed, say after 50k kms would the noise return? Or is this an issue that can be avoided with preventive maintenance?
