Painting rear diffuser fins?

So long story short, I ran over something on the highway and the damn thing pulled off my rear diffuser on the way out. It took one of my muffler tips with it (shortly after the pic was taken).
I don't want to spend more money on this now, so will put the OEM diffuser and tips back on it (unless someone knows of quad square tips that will fit the OEM bumper and diffuser, which I may consider buying).

I'm planning on getting my calipers painted red. Curious whether people think painting the rear diffuser fins the same red would look nice?

Here's a pic:

After the damage (the left tips fell off shortly after this pic was taken)

Here's the stock diffuser and tips. The white on the diffuser would be painted red.

Photoshop it so you can see before actually doing it.

I'd be cautious on what "red" you use. Darker may have a better appearance. Make sure to keep us updated and post pictures!

You might try to paint the fins with a different trim color (possibly darker) and the rest of the diffuser with a different color (possibly lighter). You might want to render the color combination to get a better sense though.

if you decide to paint the diffuser red make sure to post the pics. Really interested to see how that will look. I see by your dealer plates that you live in my area. I also have a polar white c300. I was thinking about getting the calipers painted as well. Are you getting them painted locally? If so where and how much did they quote you?
Thanks.

While I loved your PhotoShop work, I thought I might post an alternate:

The actual red shade will make a big difference too, of course.

I frankly disliked it. I would still prefer black Matt.

That's just a stock pic I found online. I'm in Indianapolis actually.

Haha thanks, you did a much better job. I'm thinking it's not a great look now, though maybe darker red would look nice. I'm also thinking about this diffuser:
