Hi guys, I have just gotten myself a 2019 C300 with the digital cockpit and SD Navigation. I have been trying to get my right tachometer to show the navigation map like this
But my digital cluster only gives me 4 options. Rev counter, Eco Display, Trip and G meter.
I believe the feature you're looking for is only available with COMAND navigation. I could be wrong but I had the SD nav in my 2015 and the directions were not available on the cluster. They are available, however, in my 2016 with COMAND. Either way i'd just recommend you use carplay/android auto. The SD and COMAND navi systems are awful. Constantly providing wrong directions and not accounting for traffic flow. I had to give up on both.

Thankfully mine does come with android auto with waze. It's also quite convenient that the directions appears in the center display. The nav screen on the tachometer is just a neat gimmick that I want to try out. I cant imagine not having a rev counter.

What am I not doing right?
I have a MY 19 C300. It does not have Command either. When I use Android auto my navigation WILL display on the right gauge as you have shown. But only when I am actively using Android auto (meaning plugged in). You should be able to go to home screen on digital dash, scroll over to Nav and click it, and and then scroll over to the right side gauge and scroll to choose navigation view there. Is this what you did? You have to choose Navigation first from your home screen on the digital dash. Then it should give you the option. Hope this helps.

With the 2019 Digital Instrument Cluster, when you select the Nav option on one of the displays and you have Android Auto connected (with some Navigation app running on it), you will get only the next turn information (i.e. how long you need to drive straight, turn left after 100 ft on X Rd, etc.) but not the map view like shown in the first post. The map view only gets displayed when you have the COMAND based Nav. Same (as Android Auto) is true when you have the SD card based Nav active.
Good morning, I have the same problem and I would like to be able to see the navigation on the tachometer.
Hopefully there is an obd type option to activate this function.
Mercedes, I would have to find this solution, people are willing to pay 1000 or 2000usd
