OEM headlight conversion possible?

I have a 2016 C300 base model (halogen bulb) headlights and I got a 2019 LED/HID headlight but just the driver side (free so why not) can I use this? If yes I’ll buy the other side, here’s some picture of it.
also do I have to go to the dealer to get it programmed or a different harness etc

Haven't seen it done yet so you'd be the first from what I've gathered so far. I'm also looking to do this mod but the only "working" solutions out there is to buy it on either aliexpress or ebay(which i'm sure the people here are just buying and selling from ali lol). Pretty sure at minimum you'll need to reflash/reprogram the firmware to get the OEM one's to work.

There are three options for this;

Option 1) Buy an aftermarket LED Headlight. Pros) Plug & play, Cons) Expensive, Quality ???.
Option 2) Buy a genuine LED Headlight. Pros) Good quality, Cons) Expensive, A lot of work to do.
Option 3) Buy a LED bulb. Pros) Cheap ($50) and plug & play, Cons) Same exterior look.

For option 2), you need genuine LED headlights (1 left & 1 right) ($500 used ~ $2,000 new), headlight control modules if not included in the headlights you purchased (2 left & 2 right) ($400 +/-), 205-768C wiring harness(about $200 +/-), Variant coding to "code 631/632 (static LED)" ($150~) (Option 1: Visit dealership, Option 2: Visit indy, Option 3: DIY (Xentry software, MB C4/C5 multiplexer, Windows labtop, MB SCN Login ID (rent onetime for $40 +/-), Knowledge(how to use Xentry software)).

Just buy aftermarket led headlights. They work and you just have to plug them in. Check out Aliexpress.

Buy from a seller that has a > 90% rating, sold > 2 product and has received good reviews on that product and service. You should be fine.

Here are two different styles of W205 led headlights:

2019 style

for the bulb swap - I have an electrician who’s a professional car installer. He told me that the computer might accept it or might reject it and even fry. He swapped halogen bulbs for led on a bmw and one of the computers fried to hell. He said he wouldn’t recommend it, although I’ve see a lot of halogen w205s with led bulbs installed. How’d that work?

I didn’t end up using it. I stayed with my current set up of a 55w CANBUS HID kit 6000k H7. With LEDs however as long as it’s a CANBUS kit it will work, my brother had one w/o CANBUS and it flickered on and off very slowly.

for option 1-2 you’ll need to remove or at least loosen the front bumper. I ended up staying with my current set up 55w HID 6000k

I bought these for my 2017 and they're fantastic. I replaced both the low and high beans and they are extremely bright and transform the car. It definitely helps make the car look more upscale and it blends together with the hue of the daytime running lights. Here is a picture and also see the link below for where I got them. No error codes, complete plug and play and have used them consistently for almost a year.

I considered getting the full plug and play conversion, however I didn't see the benefit of putting that much money into the car for a product that does not have a proven long term reliability rating. I'm just going to make sure for my next car that I make sure I get the upgraded headlights. I think these LEDs will hold me off until then.
