Mercedes W205 2019 squeeky steering wheel
I will appreciate your help on this issue I'm having with my C220 W205 2019. There is a squeaking sound which comes from turning the steering wheel, similar to the sound an old closet can make.
This is the video I made which clearly shows the problem:
This noise comes from the steering wheel itself. I suspect clock spring which requires lubrication. Is this something I can do by myself? Is there a way to do it which does not require poking holes in the back of the steering wheel in order to unlock the airbag hatches? Can I use silicone grease?

I think this thread talks about the problem I have

I will try to lubricate the space between the black cover and the steering wheel and see if that will help.

I'm 100% sure that the problem I described and you can hear on my YouTube video is coming from the black cover in the middle of the steering wheel (airbag). I have already tested this and if I pull this cover while turning the steering wheel the noise is gone. It's either clock spring or something else which is connected with the cover.

I removed the battery, removed the airbag and greased every contact point, including the springs. The noise is gone. The entire operation was very easy.
