So I don’t find that I should have to pay a market adjustment when I am a repeat customer of the Mercedes Brand and this dealership, and a long long standing customer of this dealers other auto brands. It’s called customer loyalty and retention, but clearly they are only after their own bottom line. I am also a service customer. This same GM advised me not to pre order the car in October 2021, because he said don’t worry “i got you, I promise”. Meanwhile he contacted me last Saturday, wanted my VIN and miles, was “working some numbers” then never heard from him again. Again, customer retention……. Anyways time will tell. I guess.

He called me Saturday and wanted my VIN and mileage and said he was working on some numbers and never heard from him again. I mean come on, is that poor customer service or what. And again this is the GSM of the dealership here in Los Angeles.

Anyone in the LA area wanna buy a gorgeous 2020 C300 Mojave Silver with Cranberry Red leather, AMG Line, Panorama Sunroof and Burmester Stereo- contact me, LOL. It is a gorgeous car and not many out there with this combination. It’s ceramic coated and has 3738 miles. Covid hit and i got the car right before Covid and I don’t drive as much as I work remotely. Windows are tinted at 20%. Pics on demand. Lol.

I can’t wait to see pics of everyone’s 2022 and I will add mine when I eventually get it.
Certainly, you deserve better treatment for that type of loyalty. As for selling your vehicle, you could list it on this forum's marketplace as well if you want : ) CincyMBGuy for example listed his C 450 there and the response was pretty good.

Standard and then first upgrade regular ILS and then second upgrade Digital Light (honestly I should just look at the DOG for this information) Thank goodness no more halogen though.
I think there are just the two seen here. I don't need mb nav or any of the augmented junk. tough call. so it's really 1750 for the lights at the end of the day. looks to be the same on all c class right now for US.

Quick question... The static LED on the W205 was good enough for city driving right and the ILS is only really needed on country roads? If the static was good enough for city driving on the W205 then I would think it would be sufficient amount of light for the W206 as well in the city.

I saw it during dealer training and thought it looked pretty nice. Probably a better choice of trim especially for the center console since scratches don't show as easily.

thank you very much. That is what I was thinking myself.

another dealer I contacted has two cars coming in. One with red leather and the other has black AMG Mb Tex ( both are polar white). The one with black mb Tex has the digital light package, navigation, ventilated seats. They both have the options I want which are AMG, pano sunroof, and exclusive trim, along with multispoke wheels. Since I would be getting more equipment with the one with black mb Tex I’m going for that one. MSRP’s are the same on both cars about $53k. I have red leather now which I love, but I reallly like the upgraded digital lights. They will sell it at MSRP but at least there is no market adjustment that the dealer I leased two prior cars from is charging. Bye Felicia to that dealer. Clearly my customer loyalty means nothing to their GSM who I got both my cars from.

sorry guys don’t mean to rant, I just want you to be aware of the shadiness that is going on. If and when we end up in a recession and they can’t sell a car they’ll be banging down our doors to take these cars off the lots. I remember in 2008 one day I took my car in for service I had a Lexus IS 350 at the time and I saw the general sales manager and he’s like oh why don’t you get a new car and I said my car is not even two years old. To make a long story short for $250 I drove off in a brand new IS350 because they couldn’t sell anything

Thank you all for listening to my story and offering valuable assistance. I’ll keep you posted where this goes.

they will be completely adequate - it's all about the look for me. Not sure If I'm going to splurge or not.

Every review out there has this trim, basically. I am going with silver and have not seen a single real use of that particular trim. Metal weave is like budget carbon fiber. It has a brownish undertone - so I am taking a leap of faith for the silver diamond trim.

True... the look of the headlights is important, I agree. For reference, I have ILS on my 2017 W205, I wonder if the amount of light was more than I needed for my driving but I do appreciate the look of the ILS.

at least the metal weave console in the middle won’t scratch like the piano black or at least show the scratches. I have the silver looking aluminum on my 2020 and it’s boring and blah.

I think your anger is well justified. Looking forward to the pictures when you get your new car.

Definitely! Either way I wanted the center console and trim to match so I think one of the two are the way to go.

Hi everyone

so to add to my drama, the dealer I was trying to secure a car at msrp told me my current car is worth what my payoff is. Hahaha I just about fell off my couch laughing. My car is Mojave silver, red leather, AMG, pano roof, Burmester and 3781 miles. My payoff right now is $33k. Cars with way more miles and not even my options are selling for $40k. A dealer about 30 miles from my home offered me, $38.5k. The trade per Kelly blue book says it’s worth $39.1k. I didn’t fall off the truck yesterday.

i said thanks, I’ll keep looking. Hahahaha. What a joke. Do they think this is my first lease. Bye bye Felicia.

thanks to all for your supportive comments. My journey continues. 😀😀😀😀😀. I have no doubt I’ll secure a car eventually. 😀

i know. Sorry about all the posts. I don’t rule out that my long time dealer will contact me after the initial allotment is sold. I won’t buy at market adjustment. thankfully l, I didn’t leave things on a bad note with him. He knows I have 4 payments left so I’ll just wait and see. I was just trying to see if I could find a car now with what I want and not pay a market adjustment.

It will work out. I can wait to post pics when I find the one…..

I just will hang in there.

this article is the best I've seen for showing the details. Also shows silver diamond vs metal weave. From a far they look they same but satin vs high gloss finish. Up close, metal weave is like squares and silver diamond is diamonds... lol

While I know nothing about the 206 (and as a C43 guy IMHO that four cylinder belongs in a Golf), the Multibeam LED are a game changer. To be fair, in gimped USDOT spec, probably not much better than the standard LED, but I got them set to ROW settings, and if Benz will sell as full Adaptive now, worth it.

Mercedes Benz Rockville Center already seems to have about 25 C300s arrived and in the showroom. Huge influx. I hadn't realized just quite how long ago these cars were built... vins ending 10000-20000 were built in September-October of last year! Vins 50000+ are in production right now.

As a side note, I have not yet seen a build sheet of a car with the Digital Lights. Seems to be one of the most rare options. I like the idea of them, but auto high beam (US version) is standard and those lights are fairly neutered, so unless you plan n coding them to Euro standards, there probably isn't a huge amount of difference, certainly less then on the W205, especially pre FL. I also think that little BMW style light element looks quite nice!
