ETA Release / Delivery (US ONLY)
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I agree it’s ridiculous. I can always just wait. I have 4 payments left and i can still just extend my lease on my 2020 for 6 months. I agree. I’m not paying that market adjustment. But they are going for full msrp.
I am in Los Angeles.
If you walk into a dealer and try to buy it off the showroom inventory they might charge ‘market adjustment’ depending where you live.

I found another dealer selling at msrp. My dealer who I leased two other cars from shouldn’t be charging their own repeat customers who have leased from them before this market adjustment. I think it’s bad business and creates customer ill will. I have been a customer of this dealers various cars for decades. If they have no loyalty to repeat customers than why should I. I’ll just get the car elsewhere. Next year if we are in a recession they won’t be able to give these cars away.

In other news MB Atlanta South has their first with pictures online
What makes me mad is I asked my dealer specifically last October do I need to special order the car I want and his comment was no we’re going to have plenty of cars shouldn’t be a problem for you. This is the general sales manager of VIP sales at my dealership. So of course now they’re getting the cars in and he’s quoting me market adjustment and I’m like goodbye Felicia because I bought three cars from you plus numerous cars from your other dealerships throughout the years. I’ll either find this car somewhere else or I’ll just wait a few couple months. I have four payments left but I have equity in my car due to low mileage and I thought I could just get rid of it early but I don’t have a problem waiting but it’s just annoying that they treat loyal customers this way.
Anyone in the LA area wanna buy a gorgeous 2020 C300 Mojave Silver with Cranberry Red leather, AMG Line, Panorama Sunroof and Burmester Stereo- contact me, LOL. It is a gorgeous car and not many out there with this combination. It’s ceramic coated and has 3738 miles. Covid hit and i got the car right before Covid and I don’t drive as much as I work remotely. Windows are tinted at 20%. Pics on demand. Lol.
I can’t wait to see pics of everyone’s 2022 and I will add mine when I eventually get it.
It’s beautiful, isn’t it?
Hi
I am not just walking in that dealership. I have a 6 year relationship with this dealership and a 40 year+ relationship with other auto brands of this dealership. This is the general sale manager who was referred to me by the General Manger to go through to get my cars. So I don’t find that I should have to pay a market adjustment when I am a repeat customer of the Mercedes Brand and this dealership, and a long long standing customer of this dealers other auto brands. It’s called customer loyalty and retention, but clearly they are only after their own bottom line. I am also a service customer. This same GM advised me not to pre order the car in October 2021, because he said don’t worry “i got you, I promise”. Meanwhile he contacted me last Saturday, wanted my VIN and miles, was “working some numbers” then never heard from him again. Again, customer retention……. Anyways time will tell. I guess.
edit: I guess they are the standard lights, just odd how they add those geometric aluminum-esk elements that are almost BMW in shape whereas the upgraded ones don't have anything like that.
They also make it a nightmare to get the upgraded lights on the C43. It's either $650+1,100 for the cheap route or $2,800+$1,100 to go all in.
