Android auto windows is smaller. Ugggglly blue border
The project manager responsible for this update should have their pay docked by 20% for this ugly ugly design.
Other manufacturers are enlarging the window for android auto or carplay but Mercedes is reducing the size.
Not only that it has to have that ugly blue border top and bottom.

Do you think it is MB's problem or google's? Did you update to the latest android auto? I understand you said you updated to the latest mbux version, do you mind telling us what version is that and what specific version, starts with NTG

Update mail notification on merecedes.me app
Mbux latest update notification mail in mercedes.me app
Android v15. Android auto v14.3.651834
This only happens only after mbux update. So its an MB problem.
As I have posted earlier replying to other chats on is forum, this W206 software programming is immature for a manufacturer who regards themselves as the best.
A note: my sig below is not the current car. I much prefer this w204, the last of MB's great design and manufacturing, to my current 206.

Gotcha, in that case, send a feedback message or email to Mercedes Me or call them directly about it.
Not bothered to call. I have called them before.
They have No Idea about the car. Its just a feel good scripted, as diplomatically as possible, customer service with bring your car in to the dealer to have a look.
I am posting here, so its public and in the teenie weenie chance if those mb dev read this. Or hopefully, owners will make a lot of noise.

Software is more or less same as in other cars - has some bugs and issues, that are ironed out during car's lifetime. Unfortunately this is new norm now, and applied to everything which involves any software, not only cars, and not only Mercedes.
However this actually seems like a design choice. Some might like it, others not. You however are making it feel like a huge problem, almost like they would remove Android Auto from MBUX.
I haven't even noticed it and don't see it as any problem.

It looks like an aspect ratio problem. Or they changed the background color from black to blue. Not much we can do about that. I hope it’s not like that on CarPlay as well.

Still though, wish they offered an option to change how we like it instead of forcing down our throats with these changes that I guess uncalled for. For example, on a web page, there are different viewing styles, take for instance, this forum, there used to be an option to change the theme, again they removed it now only the classic and mobile view.

A few weeks back, there was a weird change that trip menu is gone from the app. A few calls later, they brought it back. I guess it depends on if the person on the other side of the phone cares. Need to find someone that cares which means a few different calls.

I agree it would be nice to have more choice in general, not only here. But rarely do manufacturers give us this kind of choice, it is what it is.
For me this is really splitting hairs. We are literally talking about few pixels at the top and bottom, it wouldn't really make any difference in how Android Auto is displayed or what fits on the screen. Is it really such a big deal?
